I agree. His teammates have to play better.

Lebron is such a choker and has peaked at 22 years old.

Yup. The entire NBA nation was waiting for something like this, waiting for him to 'earn' the crown.

He's half-way there now. All he has to do now is get to the Finals and regardless of outcome he will be officially "The King" after this series.

Amazing performance! Ranks right up there with Wade's finals performance last year in terms of individual heroics.

Lebron and Wade; barring health issues the league is in good hands...

Now the blame will go to Flip Saunders for allowing LeBron to shoot the ball at all. That's the most dominating clutch playoff performance in many years. Mike Brown owed LBJ a lot more kisses than he gave him after the game.

    Oh man

    I'm really conflicted

I want the Pisstons to lose but I'd like Webber to get to the finals once at least

Lebron was just sick tonight, but it's not over yet

Not going to beat the Spurs anyway. Sadly the Spurs won't choke and let LeBron pwn them like Wade pwn3d the Mavs.

If I were detroit I would double team or triple team lebron cause you know no one else on the cavs can beat you.

LeBron was absolutely brilliant. He made big shots after big shots and also got the winning basket.

oh they're not beating the spurs. their D will make the cavs offense look even more lost than it usually is and the spurs will get their points. it'll go about 5 i would think as i just don't see the spurs letting lebron to the basket like the pistons did (although they guard the 3 point line crazy and may not collapse so much, but i would change that strategy against lebron).

even the rockets would beat cleveland b/c jvg's defense is tailor-made for an offense like cleveland's.

I think people are forgetting about Dwayne Wade. He is pretty damn special himself. And he has a ring, and Shaq didn't do jack.

can we stop saying kobe is the best player in the L? kobe is the best SCORER. lebron's the best overall player.

i can't say anything about him. but pistons just aren't that good. they're all overrated.

and tayshaun prince is an overrated piece of crap. he can never defend any of these guys 1-on-1. w/ help, he still can't stop lebron.

we would beat the cavs for sure. pistons just aren't that very good. they have no go-to player. no ben wallace to anchor the D.

we would beat this team without yao. but can't take away what lebron did. he has earned his due as the best player in the L.

    yeeeeeeeeesssss!!!!

Holy mother of god!!!!! I have a new religion now. I seriously doubted if I'd ever see my Browns or Cavs reach a final in my lifetime and now they're a step closer. You guys don't understand, when you're resigned to knowing your team will suck before the season even starts for 10 yrs straight this is un-freaking-believable. I've lost my voice screaming for a minute straight.

I hope this game was proof enough that Houston role players > Cavs role players x 10.

As for the jumpshooting, I'd still say that Lebron is the worst shooter of the superstar guard/forwards (Arenas, Tmac, Kobe, Wade). The problem is he's inconsistent. Thank goodness this was one of the consistent streaks.

Lebron nearly scored 1/2 of the Cavs' points, and I think he scored the last 245 there by himself against the Pistons WITH the Pistons fully knowing every time who was going to get the ball. This was nothing short of amazing. It truly was five on one and One won. I think the spirit of Bill Walton is in me right now, and I apologize.

I hope the Cavs realize that game 6 is probably the series. Don't count on stealing another one in game 7 (although it's possible). They better come out full guns blazing and finish it off.
