Not to mention scoring... Losing LeBron would make them worse defensively and A WHOLE LOT worse offensively. They would very possibly be the worst offense in the league without LeBron.
okay well i guess lebron really needs to leave the cavs then. b/c he is never gonna win a ring with that team? Lebron is great, but for people to say now that Lebron's team is not good enough is crap. before the finals everyone thought the cavs were the best team.
lol exactly, their offense would be horrible. And the respect from the refs would be gone without LeBron.
everyone though are offense would be horrible with out tmac or yao or both. Can you really say Battier and Aaron Brooks are that much better than the cavs other guys?
Before the playoffs I said the Cavs would not the championship because I didn't think they would beat the Lakers.Hell they may not even beat Orlando now. Before the playoffs I said the exact same thing I am saying now when I was debating how they would be without LeBron.
So the Cavs are decet with lebron, yet had the most wins in the NBA... hmmm.. so i guess there are no "good" teams in the nba?
He's a good interior defensive player but he doesn't guard perimeter players other than occasionally off switches. The Cavs would likely still be an above average defense minus LeBron because of Mike Brown's philosophy more than anything else. There would be nothing Mike Brown or anybody else could do to fix the atrocious offense that would be taking place. Not only does LeBron do the bulk of their scoring, he makes everybody else FAR more efficient than they would be otherwise. Their undersized backcourt would get eaten alive playing defense without LeBron compensating for their lack of size. Delonte is a good defender, as are Wallace and Vareajo, but their perimeter defense would take a massive hit without LeBron. He is so long, strong and athletic that it makes it tough for opposing guards and wing players to get good looks. His defense clearly improved a lot this season.
Come on Eve. Varejao could barely guard Rashard Lewis in the 1st 2 games, who couldn't even punish Scalabrine. Varejao would get eaten up on the perimeter.
Props to pietrus, who like ariza, has stepped up and played consistently well on both ends of the court in these playoffs. Both guys have done what role players have to do on occasion which is make big plays and rise to the challenge when its counted the most both on offense and defense.
Plus Luis Scola, Ron Artest, Von Wafer, Carl Landry and later on, Kyle Lowry. Yes, our supporting cast is far better than that of the Cavs.
well look who's up in this series the team with fewer wins...oh the irony in 1994 the supersonics were number 1 in their conference and got knocked out by an 8th seed
lakers underestimated the rocket teams and the rockets came out with heart and played a good game and STILL lost the series and got blew out in game 7
Because those guys get more chances with Tmac and Yao out. I'm sure there are people on the cavs that would rise without Lebron. Not as good as the rockets do, but they would still be around a 500 team.
No you said Sasha when talking about the cavs. I was asking if you meant Varejao...or maybe I read that wrong.
