If you don't make the playoffs you are a lottery team.

do you realize how many bad teams are in the east????? I don't see why everyone has to defend Lebron all the time? Would the Lakers be better than the cavs, -kobe, -lebron... YES. but the cavs would not be absolutely horrible. If that is the case, Lebron will win zero championships at this point.

okay yes on that. but I'm talking about a bottom 8 team. I think the cavs would still get at 7 or 8 seed. in the garbage east. 1-3 pretty good, but 4-8 ....... :(

If Lebron didn't make that buzzer winning shot, Orlando would have swept them. Wow.

Without Kobe on that team, the Lakers are the Grizzlies part 2. I think it's been proven that you can't win anything with Gasol as the first option.

The Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs without Kobe. Do you really believe they would win 45 games? I'd say 30-35 at best.

On the other hand the Cavs would be lucky to win 20 games without LeBron.

You are kidding yourself. You really think a team of

    Mo Williams
    Delonte West
    Pavlovic
    Verajao
    Big Z

is better than the Heat, Bulls, Sixers, etc. Who exactly would be the #1 option on the Cavs? Mo Williams?

exactly he wont win a championship with players playing this bad.

the lakers squad shows up sooner or later

who would score for the cavs without lebron?!?!?!

who would dig this team out of holes?!?!

lebron scored 40 points tonight and they STILL lost by 10

the cavs would be horrible without lebron....i cant believe you actually think they would be decent without him

I have a question, anybody with an knowledge on free agent type stuff please feel free to answer.

It seems to me that everyone is leaving the spurs out for the big name free agents in 2010.... any chance Lebron or Dwade go to the spurs???? or would they have to trade parker or duncan before?

I think it is pretty obvious they would not be as good as the Suns, but I think they would be a clear 9th place. The Cavs on the other hand would be the absolute worst team in the NBA

The next best options on the Lakers (Gasol and Odom) are far, far, far, far, far better than the next two best options on the Cavs (Mo and West).

Cavs in the playoffs without LeBron?

Lol, seriously. Without LeBron who is guarding the perimeter?

Without LeBron who is creating shots for all those jumpshooters that can't create for themselves?

Without LeBron where will all the energy be for that team?

They would be lifeless and hopeless.

Guarantee you if LeBron wasn't on this team Anderson Varejao would not get all those flopping calls.

did u watch the last regular season game for the cavs? I still think the cavs would get a 7 or 8 seed, minus lebron... but then again, 7 or 8 in the east, is pretty crappy

they would squeeze into an 8th seed.

    fisher
    ariza
    brown
    famar
    gasol
    bynum
    vujabitch
    walton

they would play a different style but they would be able to sqeak in the 8th spot

Cleveland could EASILY be down 3-0 right now, staring at a SWEEP. LeBron's supporting cast just isn't good enough to beat a much more talented team.

so your entire conclusion on the cavs team without lebron is based off 1 regular season game at the end of the season against the 76ers? lololololol

thats 1 game. 82 games the cavs would be a lottery team EASY

That may be true but still they would suck without Kobe there.
