Who cares if they could easily be up 2-0? The point is, they aren't. Without Lebron hitting that shot, they are in a HUGE hole going back to Orlando. This loss should not be demoralizing for the Magic. They got their one game in Cleveland. The 2nd win would have been a nice bonus. Cleveland giving up a huge lead like that says something about their weakness or Orlando's strength. Pick one.
Yeah, I agree with this. I think Cleveland should be more worried that they couldn't take care of business at home against them... now it's headed back to Orlando. Pressure isn't necessarily on Orlando...
The series is 1-1, so no Cleveland is not in a huge hole going back to Orlando. A huge hole would be Cleveland being down 2-0 going to Orlando.
Because they were at HOME and they were up 23 points. The game should not have to come down to a shot with 1 second left on the clock. They're lucky for it to be 1-1. Pressure is still on Cleveland.
Yeah... not to mention the fact that LeBron needed 49 in game 1... they can't keep relying on LeBron.. LeBron alone won't beat the Magic in this series. If it continues in this trend, I see the Magic in 6. You think about how great Cleveland's defense was at home in the regular season and before this series started.... they aren't playing good D. It'll be even worse on the road...
that's because orlando has very favorable match ups with cleveland, the rockets would beat orlando since they match up very well with orlando, but boston might beat the rockets, and cleveland would be boston. it's like a triangle.
That's true... but also.. you gotta think about the Cavs not hitting their normal shots on the offensive end. I don't know if whether it's the Magic defense or them just being in a slump because of the lay off... I don't know.
The Cavs are intimidated by the Magic. The Magic aren't very good defensively but the pressure that they face starting from Dwight has caused doubt in their mind. They don't feel safe even when they are leading which leads to more mistakes.
Hopefully James' buzzer beater puts to end the Kobe vs. Lebron BS debate. Lebron can't shoot. Lebron is too scared to take game winning shots. My ass. Lebron is by far the best basketball on this planet still playing the game. Hands down, no doubt.
How so? Even if you want to assume some of the new school guys have moved up the list, Pippen would still rank ahead of these guys from the original list IMO: Dave Bing George Gervin Pete Maravich Earl Monroe (iffy) Robert Parish Lenny Wilkens James Worthy Pippen is arguably the 4th best SF of all-time, behind Bird, Dr J and LeBron....and i really can't think of many better all around players outside of Hakeem, Robinson, KG, Kobe, Stockton and MJ (as far as being able to do everything on both ends of the court).
anyway ultimately I still think cleveland will win the series, he led his team to the finals with a much inferior team in 07 down 0-2 to the detroit pistons who back then were the team to beat in the east. they ruled the east back then and no team was thought to be able to challenge them. then lebron went ssj and won 4 straight games after being down 0-2. so with a much better team, being 1-1, I think he'll carry them if he needs to, and mo will start to have his shots dropping.
There was only one second left. One second. Just enough for a catch and shoot. Who else the play was drawn up for? It was not much of a a fade away, it was a catch an shoot. I wonder why SVG said the Magic could have defended differently?? Well, maybe that's obvious to you, Don't get me wrong, I am not taking anything away from LeBron. I just thought he was single covered by Hedo and got a clean look, which was pretty bad defense.
Can you guys please explain to me the 2 offensive fouls on Hedo Turkoglu on that flopping a$$ b!#$% Verajao? and can you please also explain the two defensive fouls called when LeBron clearly charged/lowered his shoulder and the Gortat was freaking stationary? that's game right there.. worst officiating I've seen in a long ass time, and that's saying something. Not to take away from the guy's last shot, that was sick, but unbelievably stupid on Ron Jeremy's part.. seriously, a 12 year old could've seen that play coming.. who's gonna take the last shot? Mo Williams? or Ben Wallace?
In fact the referees gave Magic some justice calls in the last few minutes. An offensive foul and traveling calls on Lebron James which you don't see so often!
I know right! now I kinda get it: LeBron James doesn't travel unless 5 steps are taken.. anything less than that is perfectly legal and within the rules and regulation of the league.. in addition, for every 5 offensive fouls LeBron commits, only one is to be actually called an offensive foul while the other four are to be whistled blocking fouls regardless of how ridiculous it makes the league look.. Hedo couldn't get a call to save his life.. his defender has been reaching the entire damn game, and they only called it once late in the game.
Damn shut the **** up already dude, your ****ing annoying. What do you have against Lebron. U must be a kobe fan
