The overhead shot clearly showed him jumping to his left because he wasn't in position to make a play. If he was in good position, outside of the circle, and straight up and down, then it's either a charge or a no call. But he jumped sideways in front of Lebron and created the contact. That's a foul.

People don't commend his "brilliance" because so much of it is just plain hype.

LeBron made a fairly good And 1 and Marv Albert & Doug Collins were drooling over his "amazing talent", but Pietrus makes a ridiculous circuit shot And 1 against Varejao and all the say is "that was a close call for Varejao", whatever that means.

Watching Lebron tonight is beautiful. I love basketball. All he has to do now is pull one out in Orlando, and then this series is OVER. No way Bron Bron let's the Cavs lose a game 7 at home.

lebron is BY FAR the best player right now and no one is even close. it's ridiculous how good he is. if his J keeps improving, he's going to be even better.

40 points, 8 assists 8 board averaged for a series is NOT hype - it's reality, and it's one of the great playoff performances in history. There's no way you can argue otherwise.

When somebody delivers, it's not hype, it's reality. WHen Pietrus does that, you have a valid argument. But he didn't, and won't, so you don't.

37 pts, 14 rbs, 12 assists is sooo overrated.

But being down 3-2 overshadows that 100%.

T-Mac is the 7th best playoff performer OF ALL TIME, but does that make him one of the greatest playoff performers?

nah, its all hype. ESPN and David Stern make Lebron appear much better than he really is.

Yeah its all Hype, Lebron is all Hype, I'm so angry at ESPN for trying to promote arguably the best individual player to ever come up in the History of the NBA

I'm tired of this propoganda

oh btw, he's scored or assisted on 32 straight pts, yeah complete hype.

You're right, Lebron sucks. I hope he never comes to Houston. And if he does he should come off the bench.

BTW, he's led his team to one NBA finals and two conference finals. Weak sauce. If he was any good he would win 3 championships by now. Awful.

Actually it does. T-Mac's playoff numbers are historic. He's one of the few players who has significantly better playoff numbers than reg season numbers. So yes, T-Mac is a great playoff performer. His team just doesn't usually show up to help him out. And he's only been on 1 team that had a favorable seed in his playoff career and that was with the Rockets vs Jazz (4 v 5).

it just emphasizes once again that no one player can beat a team. lebron actually played better in this series than the other 2 and yet losing.

the reason they're winning tonight, mo will and a few others showed up.

the cavs could still lose this series with lebron putting up 40, 8, 8. seriously.

No it really doesn't. That's asinine. If he was bricking shots in the clutch that would be one thing, but the reality is the exact opposite, he forced OT last game by nailing two freee throws, and nearly pulled off a three pointer to force another one after scoring a bunch of quick points, hit "the Shot" the game before, and just scored or assisted on 32 straight points down the stretch.

It's not all about who gets the W.

And he did that with the entire Orlando Magic team focused to stop him defensively. Its really soooo impressive. Lebron is a once in a lifetime player. A joy to watch.

This drooling over LeBron is ridiculous. You want to know why he is involved in 32 straight points? Because he holds the ball every possession.

    19 FTA ...
