I think today showed the NBA isn't rigged after all. I mean c'mon, If it was rigged and they wanted ratings they would have let the Heat win because honestly what do you think would get more ratings

Joe Johnson and Josh Smith vs LeBron

    or

    Wade vs LeBron

    um... he won a championship.

you do remember kobe didn't get past the first round without shaq/gasol right?

wade isn't as good as lebron or kobe, but he's not very far behind.

PS - kobe wouldn't beat the hawks if he was on the heat either. only lebron could do that probably b/c he's so good all around.

He definitely is up there with Kobe and Lebron.

    How is he not?

If Kobe was on this heat team he would probably request to be traded in the off-season.

again i keep repeating this: one great player can't beat a better team over a 7 game series. 5 game series like before, possibly, but def. not a 7 game series.

you can nitpick and say wade could and should have shot better, increase his rebounding/passing and all that... but he has to compensate so much for the weak supporting cast that it's hard to do it all.

he needed at least 3-4 of his guys to bring their A game EVERY game this series to have a chance.

the only player who can possibly beat a team by himself in a 7 game series is lebron james and only him. he has clearly separated himself as the best player in this L.

He was handed a championship by absurd NBA officiating.

    Agree to disagree.

No, but the refs don't want the game to get out of hand.

Agreed, if i had to pick one player to dominate a team and beat a team that is better than his team I would say Lebron James.

Looks like Wade just pulled a Tracy McGrady in the playoffs. Blowout Game 7 loss and a 1st round exit. Put up some big numbers (about 30, 5, and 5). Terrible supporting cast with some injuries too. Lost to the better, more talented team.

If you guys want to stay consistent and not look like hypocrites, you're going to blame Wade for this, right? And since I said his supporting cast sucks, you're going to bash me for throwing his teammates under the bus, right?

Yes. T-Mac's #8 seeded Magic were up 3-1 on the #1 seeded Pistons 3-1. It was the very first year they extended the 1st round series to 7 games. Tough luck.
