Okay I needed time because Izak drafted a old-azz team with guys that aren't too well known or documented and therefore hard to compare. I read articles and book excerpts about Pettit, Thurmond, Bellamy and Thompson to base my judgement on logic. Thompson is obviously one of the most underrated guys and was one of the most electrifying two-guards in his era, with stunning athleticsm and a good jumpshot. He's basically a Jordan/Wade prototype. He's a good factor for Izak's team and would surprise. Jamers has Hill and Marion though, who would be able to keep up with him on defense and with their size. Pettit was good on offense and could still hang with modern bigs, but he lacks athleticsm and was a notorious hole on defense. Therefore him vs. Duncan would turn ugly in a minute. Thurmond was one of the best big defenders and shot blockers of all-time, but he was a weakness on offense and had a very low fg%, which would probably be even lower vs. modern guys, especially a beast like Moses. Bellamy was seemingly okay but not all-time material. Him vs. Ben Wallace would likely lead to Ben dominating the match-up. Now that I did that, my conclusion: Jamers clearly leads the frontcorut duel and would likely destroy Izak there. The backcourt duel is close and could result in a tie. Bench goes to Jamers. All his guys are willing passers and suited for a modern game that Izak wouldn't be able to keep up with. Who wins? I say Jamers in 5.
