Hedo fails when it counts. Oh well. The Pistons will definitely make the ECFs again.

That's what I was thinking. The no move on defense cost them the game. SVG is not very smart.

That's no excuse for what Dooling did though, as you are trying to imply....

Dooling is a moron for blatantly taking a technical in the last seconds of the game. I am sure the coach did not ask him to get a technical.

Nonsense! He had the Magic's last 10 points with 5 mins left in the game. So just because he did not make the last basket, he failed? I am guessing those other 10 point did not count?

Maybe if Jameer Nelson hadnt choked on the free throw....

This game goes to prove how far away D.Howard is from being a superstar. He is big and athletic but the media has sure hyped him up.

Howard cannot give the team offense when they really need it. He is a finisher.

Lewis can but he disappears when you need him.

That leaves Hedo to create in pressure situations.

Yao is still far ahead of him. Dwight has a long way to go still. One must be insane to think that Yao is gonna finish such a huge playoff game with the season on the line with just 8pts.

The media has hyped him up because he can jump high and dunk hard. If he isn't within 7ft of the basket he is very ineffective. He's not a playmaker like Yao, he's not a pure scorer/shot-maker from that position like Yao. He's just not yet ready to have an offense run through him. He's still very raw. Right now he is making the most of his athleticism, but soon enough he'll develop more of a low post game and be able to create effective shots(not dunks) for himself and others.

You misunderstood what I meant. I'm upset he missed that ONE shot. I've praised Turkey-Glue all season for being the "go to" guy on that team.

At the same time, the other 10 points he scored counted but it was all for naught. Mainly because SVG basically gave the Pistons 3 straight baskets by allow Rip to iso Dooling. The donkey for this game is SVG!

SVG is a terrible coach. It's as simple as that. His offense is worse than JVG's, even with Jeff telling Stan to emphasize Adelman's offensive plan - ball movement.

Why the hell would you run the clock down, and iso Hedo for the drive? That makes no sense, especially with Prince guarding him.

He should have ran the pick and roll with Lewis and Hedo, if Rashard can't get anything off the drive, kick it out to Hedo for the jumper.

yao is still a much much better offensive player than dwight (it's not really close). yao can get his shot anytime if you play him straight up. yao is like 2-3 levels ahead of dwight offensively.

however, dwight's strengths cannot go unnoticed. he finishes better than yao (much better). he rebounds much better and those 2 things are things we desperately need from our big men.

but you can't get the perfect package (hakeem lol) can you nowadays
