I swear, waiting for Tari to heal is like waiting for the NBA during the dog days of the summer. That said, I hope the team is taking care with his rehab and giving him time to fully heal. Better to be safe than sorry! But damn, I really miss seeing Tari and his chaos out there
Udoka pushed Williams and Smart to play through injuries and their health has been worse after that than before. We've been through this with MDA, a coach trying to prove he's tough by making players do a fake tough thing. It doesn't hurt muchto play through injury, that doesn't make anyone brave. Most players know their body and prefer to play, it's a small minority that is lazy. I don't support coaches who do this, I don't need the extra 2 wins to know if you're a good coach or not. Glad we're taking our time with Tari. Udoka is overreacting a bit these days but I'm sure getting back home will allow him to chill and focus on what he has in front of him.
The NBA is in bed with gambling now - it's absolutely our business (also **** online sports betting and daily fantasy to hell)
I knew that DB and Tari were big for the Rockets, and figured once at least one of them came back we would start rolling again, but maybe Tari is that important. The team seems to have regressed a bit in some areas defensively, it is probably more than just one solid bench player though.
