It is, my friend who played baseball at University of New Orleans majored in that. In fact, he said almost all the athletes majored in that because it was a joke and they could all focus predominantly on sports. I looked it up, we have it here at Tech too
To the OP, you should also consider the ramifications of taking the easy way out here. Yes you graduate college alot sooner if you decided to hop into something like general studies than you would if you found a major you really liked but that's looking at things in a really short term perspective. What are you going to do with a degree like that? That's the rest of your life and career we're talking about
for me the easiest is the one you like or the one you are good at. If you are good with math and you like it, then go with engineering or physics, or something like that. or people that are bad at math chose sociology or history, because that way, you get none or very little math related classes.
Even better point if they run a company, have lots of friends and relatives who do and if OP had the good sense to join a respectable frat, or get a girlfriend fiance who comes from money. Cross all those t's and he could major in masturbation and binge-drinking but still finagle a pretty decent paying job, career and fast track to upper management.
There's something amusingly simple and straightforward about this piece of advice. OP, once you decide on a major, consider going to the department's website to get a handle on the required curriculum - ie, the courses required to obtain that degree. Then cross-reference those requirements with a class schedule - ideally one from the coming semester - just to find out what dates and times those courses will be offered.
