Earthquake strikes Chile

Yikes not only was it not deep, it was quite powerful. Hope there wasn't as much damage as 2010.

 

Most of my family lives in Chile, but thankfully none in that region. Still, the last big earthquake that hit Chile proved horrible. Praying for everyone there.

The president there responded terribly to the last earthquake that she was presiding over. Let's hope she's learned her lesson.

Just read that there are no reports of major damage or deaths also the tsunami warnings outside of Chile are cancelled. It sounds like evacuations are proceeding along the coast in Chile but the waves are only 6'-0".

 

Big tsunami reportedly headed their direction. Coastline being evacuated. Prayers sent

Just saw this morning there are reports of 6 deaths and there have been 20 significant after shocks.
