Not sure if they are showing footage of this in the US but NZ has just suffered a second earthquake in the last 6 months and the damage is very significant. The footage that is coming through on the tv screens here in Australia is very disturbing and there are reports of multiple casualities with numerous buildings collapsing and many people unaccounted for. The earthquake hit at 12.50pm so many were in their offices. Watching this footage like is heartbreaking.
ya i am in christchurch...and got to admit...i was about to ***** myself.... my office is all f**ked up and i just got home from work... roads are flooded and buildings collapsed...checking for updates now.
How powerful was it on the Richter Scale? I'm sorry to hear about this. New Zealand has been having these damn things more often lately, it seems.
stay safe dude. my cousin lives in auckland (i know it's nowhere close, but nz is such a great place)
thanks this time was not as big as the september last year, but think this time is a lot shallower. Was listening to the news and they have just started to pull bodies our of collapsed buildings.

Sucks. Not trying to sound dramatic or like a downer, its just the way the world has always been Thoughts go out to NZ
lol...dont' think the filming will be anywhere near christchurch in the first place casualties are at 65 right now.
I think its more the matter of a 24 hour news cycle and the world shrinking. Twenty years ago, how many people would have known about the protests in the Middle East? Or what Chad Johnson had yesterday for breakfast for that matter. My heart goes out to those people in Christchurch.
