voted today…when they asked me for ID I was searching through my wallet and pockets like a cartoon before realizing I’d left my DL at the house, so I had to drive back there and then come back

Nice Reeko......question, this is my first year since moving back that I am voting, I checked online and it showed some polling places by my house, can I go anywhere to vote or just the places listed when I look it up on line. I would rather get my vote in now and not wait until election day

Don't you have to vote within your municipality and school district? If you go anywhere in your county, how do you see school district races (for example)? When I lived in Texas, I had to go to an assigned location. Has that changed?

Implying you live in a homeless shelter? Not nice but I don’t think it’s on par to saying your parents hate you.

Like I said I don’t want to be a cyber nanny and I don’t have the time or inclination to read every post here. Yes I believe people have said some nasty stuff about you it looks like you’ve done the same.

I get we’re talking about very sensitive topics and ones that people are really passionate about. All I’m saying is we should be leaving peoples parents and kids out of it when we really know nothing about each other.

Voting during the early voting period couldn’t be easier and more convenient! Registered and eligible voters may vote at ANY early voting location located in their county of residence. Whether you are at home, work or out running errands, you will be able to find a polling place near you. Early voting locations will be populated in our search site "My Voter Portal" two days prior to the first day of early voting. Here, you can enter your Name, County, Date of Birth and ZIP code to look up your registration information and find your nearest polling location. You may want to contact the Early Voting Clerk for State and County Elections in your county for early voting locations. Also, many newspapers publish early voting polling locations.

Digital ballots let you get the correct ballot wherever you are. To it's credit, Texas has one of the best early-vote setups out there with 2 full weeks and pretty easy/convenient voting. And it works - if I recall correctly, something like 30-50% of Texas voters vote early.

The line in Cypress was the longest I’ve seen for early voting in a mid term election.
