This dramatically helps our chances with Carmelo, because NO ONE is going to want Earl Smith, or give up anything to get him to make Melo happy in Denver.

Hooray for me! Hooray for school!

To be fair, Ray Lewis was a WITNESS to a murder....he never actually killed anybody, but I understand what you're saying. Whether or not he killed the person is besides the point....he was in a situation that leads people to believe that he's a scumbag. Honestly, Ray Lewis is not someone that I would want on my team either, although I will say that he's made obvious efforts to clear his name, and he's matured as a human SINCE all of that happened. I don't think he's even had one incident with the law, or his team ever since then. JR Smith, otoh, is CONSTANTLY doing something stupid or just plain messed up on AND off the court. He doesn't fit into our team's culture whatsoever, and while he might be on top of the world during his hot streaks....when he's cold, he's an absolute detriment to your team. Ray Lewis has never NEGATIVELY affected his team ON THE FIELD, whereas I don't think the same could be said about JR Smith. Nobody is going to be raising up any Hall of Fame banners, or retired jerseys for JR Smith.....Ray Lewis though, I think is headed down that path.

Ray Lewis was a linebacker. His job was to "kill" people on the field.

    Seriously, Smith needs Artest's psychiatrist.

Far worse? Sounds like another one of your rush to judgements. I bet you would want JR in LA, since you foolishly think Budingers a better player lmao.

When I first saw the title, I though JR was the one choking, like you know on food or something.

Anyway, it wouldn't be too bad having this guy, he could probably knock out Kobe in the playoffs, that would really help.
