Carr haters probably will look for every excuse to blame him ... but like others have said: we have two problems: ineffective pass rush, and the fact that Philly has effectively shut down our running game. David has played very well in my opinion...I'm a lot more worried about pass defense right now than anything else.
agree, and some would classify me as a carr hater. he's played a lot better. he still held the ball on one of those blitzes, but as long as he throws long, I don't care. there is no pass rush, and mario is being blocked one on one. but philly has some good tackles. dameco has played well.
I'll wait till the end to throw in my two cents... I just saw on Fox halftime that Vince is actually playing Jeff Fisher has officially gone off his rocker. Didn't he start Cody Carlson over Steve Mcnair coming out of college?
Its already been reported that the Titans would like Vince to have 2-3 series per game... that's why he's been listed as the #2 QB.

If I recall, he did get his drop and then started to roll towards the right which is when he was sacked. I just wonder if he knows what's happening in front of him. As soon as the back went in motion to the left out of the backfield and the safety came up to the line on the same side, not to follow the back in coverage but rather to sit on the line, he should have known there was a blind side blitz on the way with zone coverage. That should be automatic recogniztion for him after 4 years of NFL football.
And people actually have the audacity to question why they went with defense in this draft. Its a HUGE problem that they have no clue what they're doing on that side of the ball.... huge.

Say what again? Could the defense actually look WORSE out there if they didn't have Mario? THAT is a scary thought.
