Hmm... a Saints fan was telling me they were playing the winner of the game tonight... I think the Girls can beat the Vikings... NFC Championship game will go to the Saints.
The Cowboys have played like the believe they can win it all for the past 4 weeks now. I was worried about the inconsistency they showed early in the season but now the O is clicking on the ground AND in the air and the D has been outstanding. If you had told me they would dominate the eagles this way 2 weeks in a row I never would have believed it. Let not forget the Eagles were rolling and a lot of people were picking them to go all the way before the Cowboys shut them out the last game of the season. Nice for Romo and Bum's Son to give all the haters something to suck on. The Defensive game plan has been tremendous and Romo's play has been Pro-bowl Caliber down the stretch. Keep it up and anything can happen. Go Cowboys.
I don't root for any particular team in the NFL, but I want the Cowboys to win just so Romo can ask everyone how his ass tastes.
The one thing that sort of nags me about these victories over The Eagles is that frankly, The Eagles looked fumblin' stumblin' turrible. No run game at all, inept ball handling, the defensive backs were playing on crutches, they couldn't pass block at all. I know they had a 5 game streak but they looked bad. Will the Cowboys be confident because they are playing great or over-confident because the The Eagles weren't very good?
Indeed. This is kind of how I feel. The Eagles O-Line is a joke and their defense is a shadow of what it once was. I give the Cowboys credit for winning, but like I said.. the Eagles NFC East empire looks to be over.
Cowboys are peaking at the right time. They have had the talent, but couldn't seem to get it together. Since the N.O. victory they are rolling. If they get past the Vikings, they may go all the way.
I don't even want Dallas to Jerry Jones' team. I still dream of Tom Landry and Roger Staubach. But, I'm like a Palestinian kid stuck rooting for Hamas. I was born into it and no rational thought process can overcome my emotional reaction when the Silver and Blue takes the field.
