EA NBA Live 08 Rocks look good and roster doesn't have Scola!

people still play nba live? It must be the multi-millions of dollars EA throws around in marketing...

open your eyes people. 2K has ruled since it came out on Dreamcast, imo.

Even NBA07 is better than LIVE. EA makes mediocre games at best.

just hit open and dont download it, it still takes awhile, it is from a live show last night on gamespot. The improvements in NBA 2k8 are awesome in the vid.

 

Oh you mean when they look like they are playing on ice? Another one is when players would go through each other... anyways, I've been a live fan for a while until I played 2k7 and I was blown away on how better 2k7 was compared to live 07. Live 06 was decent but the others were just like crap! I'm a converted 2k player. Imo, nba 2k >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> nba live.

 

FIFA is a very polished game and has improved a lot in the past few years, but the gameplay still isn't up to the level of Winning Eleven/Pro Evo

 

I gotta say, ive been playing basketball games for some time, and ive been loyal to live until last year. WOW!! 2k7 blew my mind, its the closest game to the real deal. The game play is awesome. Plus they have scola on the game, and live doesn't. I just hope they have the new court design too

 

What planet did you get your info from? (That 2k7 has Scola). Scola was never on 2k7 and nobody but Yao and Mcgrady are confirmed for either game at this point. Live and 2k8 will both probably have Scola, but your post has zero fact to it. FYI.

 

Basketball games suck. Everything is all wrong in them.

The only good one is the one at Jilian's where you can play with Hakeem.

well i never said scola was on the 2k7 game, what i meant to say was that scola is confirmed for 2k8, just look at the link below, there is a picture of yao getting a dunk and you can see scola in the picture.

good find, I never saw that pic, but still, unlike what you said, Scola will be on Live.

Looks like they are going to have to change the graphics of the floor

I like the graphics, sort of makes me wish I actually played video games

 

I dont know if they are because its up to the team that changes the floor to submit that in time and i believe they are done with 2k8 already. They've been working on this engine since the beginning of nex gen.

there are other tidbits they haven't talked about yet, but the game will make 2k7 feel old.

 

what the hell were u playing sega genesis or something had both and live sucked

 

why would anyone bother making a thread about Live when 2K7 has been rated the #1 basketball sim for the past, i dunno, 7 years?

 

Im so pumped for:

1. Rockets opening day!
2. Halo 3
3. NBA 2k8
4. NBA Live 08

 

I played the demo, its a lot better than Live 07(which was THE WORST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF VIDEO GAMING). So it's not saying much, since Pokemon Snap is also a lot better than Live 07.

NBA2k8 all the way. I won't even rent Live 07.
