This sounds bad, so scrubs can pay more to get what? a bigger life meter? auto block? I hope the graphics are good
The thing that intrigued me most was Destiny. I was already interested in it, but the gameplay really hooked me. If there was any part of me that felt I was missing out on Halo 34 (or whatever number they're on), that is no longer the case. It looks to be a great one by Bungie. Abzu also piqued my interest, as well as Uncharted 4. I think I'm done wishing for Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Not 100%, but they might be showing gameplay of Bloodborne in a bit here: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/09/playstation-at-e3-2014-watch-it-live/ Probably not....but we can hope, right?

I haven't been able to follow much of their E3 press, but yeah, that might be a safe bet. The optimist in me says early 2015, though I don't know if that's really probable. It looks to be in a decent state so far, and given that it doesn't really have quests, I'm not sure there's really that much more content to create. On the other hand, I do know they've been hinting at a significant part of the game that they've yet to really show of/talk about. If it was coming out soon, they'd already be talking about it. The implication here is that they're saving this bit of news to give it at least one more big marketing push before its release. On top of that, I believe the studio was damaged by some floods at the end of last year. I'm trying to remember specifics, but I want to say they might have lost some things with that. I don't really know what kind of deal they have with Sony either. It sounds like, at best, it will only just debut first on PS4 (maybe before PC though?). Depending on how involved Sony might be involved, it is possible they might influence the release date. I got the impression that Sony is really only involved in marketing the game though, and Hello Games will release it when they're comfortable (if Sony was more involved, I think it would be console exclusive). edit: Oh, and if they end up supporting Morpheus, it is possible they might try to align the release with the launch of that platform. But again, I don't think Hello Games benefits much from delaying the game much, even though it would be closely linked to Morpheus I'd assume.
A lot of cool stuff. I think I am one of the few that does not care for anymore Halo. I played 1-4 and it was cool for the first few but now it seems redundant. Especially with so many other fps out there. I feel like that is why they are remastering the previous games, in hopes to lure people in with nostalgia. It could end up being great though....who knows.
Advent Rising was such an underrated game. I was so disappointed no sequel was made. Can't believe it bombed so hard
I'm expecting a November or December release...hopefully it won't fall to 2015 I'm hoping to hear news of a bundle. WiiU, Smash Bros, gamecube adapter, AND gamecube controller for $299 and you can have my money Nintendo
Advent Rising is actually my favorite game of all time.... Right after it comes Halo and then Knights Of The Old Republic.... It was the best experience I have ever had in a campaign with what I thought was an absolutely amazing story. With that said it did bomb..... But how? Orson Scott Card (One of the best Sci-Fi authors ever known for Enders Game) was in charge of the story. Tommy Tallarico (Probably the best video game music composer ever) was in charge for the music which I without a doubt believe is one of the best ever for any game.... My fav track off Advent Rising... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xcpFTtReGz0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> With that said this game was suppose to be a Halo killer and as a Halo fan I can tell you all the pieces were there.... I understand people's frustration with the game but gosh even with all that I think it was just outstanding... What could have been... If Advent Rising ever released exclusive for PS4 I would run to the store and pick it up.....
I think with Advent Rising you had to stick with it because the beginning of that game doesn't really draw you in and I almost stopped. But once you started getting the different powers and upgrading them and got more engrossed with the story i was hooked. And you're right the music from Tommy was damn good. They bet big on that game and loss though. I think they even had some type of promotion for the game to win a million dollars or something like that if I remember correctly. They definitely had to scrap that promotion, lol
