Can someone rehash the PS4 stuff, aside from it being a boring conference? Busy day and y'all went off in this thread last night. Sheesh.
Yeah, I haven't checked the sales out, but Halo is bigger than each I think. Though KH is generally bigger than FF I think (as a main entry anyway), but think it is smaller still. Especially in the West, yes. FFXIII is a tainted IP now (part of the reason the game was renamed to FFXV instead of Versus XIII). Nomura generally makes some of SE's best selling games I think, so XV could get them back, but I agree that FF sales have tapered off. If fake game becomes a real game, I could see it doing very well. Seems almost like Uncharted meets FF anyway, so could get fans of more fast-paced games. I agree. I personally prefer PS4 (especially if the fake games are real and exclusive...so 0.1% chance), but MS has some great ones too. I especially like what has been shown of Quantum Break. PS generally has the advantage in numbers (much bigger/better 1st party to provide exclusives), and they seem to have indie love this time around, but as of now, they're pretty even IMO. Don't think MS is saying it. Probably derogatory, but I just copy what everyone else on the Internet uses.
Xbox One. The X and B stand for XBox. The "one" stands for One. Put it together and it's XBone. At least, that's how I take it.

Both consoles are underwhelming, IMO. It will again boil down to content and execution of their online strategy. DD
yes, which is why it's comical to see people having a pissing contest about specs, exclusive titles and fairly marginal price discrepancies...not to mention the moral fortitude of the person as it relates to which console they rep.
Damn, man. I'm not that stupid. I can see how they got the name. I just didn't know if there was a negative connotation with it or not. If I refer to it as XBone will I be perceived as being anti-Xbox or anti-Xbox One?
This is a really great point. And you know what's so odd about it? Complete reversal from last gen. 360 launched with the modular approach. No rechargeable controllers. No wireless. No hard drive. No hi-def disc format. If you wanted all that stuff you could have it. But if you didn't, you could go without for a cheaper price. PS3 included all that stuff, plus 4 USB ports instead of 2 and a bunch of media card readers. That was awesome if you wanted all that stuff, but not necessarily everyone did. So you had a console that costs more partly due to features people didn't want. If you look at it today, the inclusion of hard drives and wireless adapters in a console is a no-brainer. But it helped Microsoft early on to be modular, and it hurt Sony to build in everything. And now MS is the one building everything in and giving consumers less choice. Weird.
Don't forget Phil Harrison is talking at E3 for Xbox. That's what makes things really freaky (on top of reversal of hardware designs, dev support, consumer messaging, etc.).
They didn't do that at all, Sony would be a fine company to put our game onto - if we decided to do that. As would MS, we have chosen to go PC only for now..... DD
Busy with work, but Nintendo showing sounds pretty strong, right? I'll check it out later, but they look to be hitting hard with some noteworthy games. Excited to check out the new X trailer when I get a chance.
