Note to publishers: When showing off your next-gen game, don't show a great CG trailer before it and follow it up with your game, which has so-so visuals.
This cgi looks better than most movies the last 2 years <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DqoQG_XYF-8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Here's some good CG (mixed with real-time): <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UyyPYkhIMgU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And from a few years ago for a fake game. *starts crying*
Awesome. I've never used them aside from Halo Map packs, but Nintendo has the same type of thing, and it drives me nuts.
I just hope all these Next Gen game won't be "always multiplayer". I'm more of a single player gamer so i'm looking forward to some good single player titles.
The $100 value will exist with the XBox One, but only if the extra stuff is important to you. One great thing Sony had going for it in the past was DVD in the PS2 when DVD players were still very expensive and Blu-Ray in the PS3. Now days most people have DVR with their cable/satellite provider and a Blu-ray player, which diminishes the value people will see in (though I know DVR with Cox is worth replacing with its cost, but DirecTv's service was better and cheaper). I do hope PS4 comes in at $399. Wonder how quickly XBox would move to cut prices. 6 months? 12 months? 18 months?
Yes, PS tonight @ 8PM (central). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmoZAPDV3ew (think a pre-show even starts here) http://www.gametrailers.com/netstorage/e3/live.html Probably Gamespot and a few others too.
