I thought Sony's presentation was laugh out loud terrible. Nintendo was great and Microsoft was ok, easily 2nd best.
From the examples they showed, it looked like some games needed 2 wands and some needed that little left hand controller too. So that would make it a minimum of 3 controllers you'd have to buy to have the ability to play their whole library.
Hey I like games too....Okay fine LBP2 was amazing. Move looked good, considering its 4 years improved on Nintendo it better be good. I just got tired of Sony tauting their 3D TVs like we've never seen the hype before, the numerous montages got old quick, PSN I didn't care too much for considering its still behind XBL, PSP not my thing, umm yea... Overall I'm still entranced by the 3DS...I want to get a hands on preview now
Damn, going to have to purchase MVC3 when it's released just because Dante looks soo bad ass in it. (huge DMC3 fan here)
I've been busy with work, so haven't had a chance to check out much video of anything. Seems like a decent E3, although largely disappointing for me (though 3DS and some Nintendo stuff seems great...but I don't really care for handhelds). The Last Guardian. I'll comment more specifically on things later I guess, once I get a chance to soak everything in. The Portal thing was funny. When I saw they delayed the game, but had a Portal-related surprise, I thought to myself "Probably porting/developing for PS3." Shrugged it off though since this was Valve. Interested to see how all that goes (and hopefully, they didn't actually delay the game in order to create a PS3 version...haven't kept up with the game, so no idea why they delayed it). And David Jaffe is a big liar. edit: Also, Eurogamer's live blogs were a bit entertaining. I sometimes hate the guy that does it since he seems to care more about jokes than details. But I enjoyed them more this time around.
I'd really like to get my hands on one of those 3DS'... it looks pretty cool. I really couldn't tell from the presser how great the 3D looked.
Fairly disappointing conferences again. Not enough BIG shockers. The 3rd party games look good though. Dante looks freaking sweet.
Twisted Metal was the biggest positive out of the whole show so far. Overall I'm not too impressed with anything. I didn't get to see the Infamous 2 stuff though. I do hate the fact that Ubisoft made no mention on Beyond Good & Evil 2. My last hope is that Jade Raymond (I love her now) made mention that they were working on a top secret project. I pray to the gaming gods that's what it is.
There was talk about two weeks ago that they are still working on it or at least haven't cancelled it. A guy can only hope.
I am so sick of all the 3D stuff. Other than that Sony and Nintendo are fighting for the top spot. MS fell off
Nah I know I was just giving you ****. I'm with you on the 3d thing and the psp stuff too...everything else though I liked.
None of the Nintendo stuff interested me. That's not a knock on their presentation, I'm just not a Wii kind of guy. Sony did better than Microsoft. The Ubisoft conference was completely awful.
