The contract they have with Microsoft won't allow them to release the PS3 version in America first. They have to finish the Xbox 360 version and release both at the same time. FF13 is exclusive to PS3 in Japan and they'll get it this Fall.
Probably depends on which system you root for. 360 had good content, and so did Sony. I personally own a PS3 and found a lot to like in their presentation. Ninentdo was about what I expected, but I'm not really their target audience. My parents and my wife's parents have Wii's, and they don't care about any of the stuff I want to play.
Microsoft's natal cleft or butt crack as we simple folks call it isn't much appealing to me as a 360 owner. Come on leave the god damn kid family time stuff to Wii. Sony allready made this stuff 10 years ago its called Eyetoy which sucked btw. Now Modern Warfare 2 is the real badass game of E3, cannot wait till november. Alane Wake looks interesting with the mystery genre and exploration. Halo is back with more spinoffs. Nice but too crowded and not a Halo game without Chief. Sony has new dildo/lightsaber to play around with This thing looks like modified Wiimote, nice job don't innovate just imatate. BTW WTF happened to SixAzz? Still got one sitting on my PS3, can we get a free upgrade? GT5 was the showstopper for me, WRC, Nascar and even damage is finally here. This game will be the epic racer of our lifetime. GOWIII looks amazing but same gameplay as the last one but still I'm buying. MAG has potential too become huge if they make it right and give the players the tools to keep em coming back for months. Finally Sony WTF is the PRICE DROP? No amount of games or exclusives would have generated so much as Sony shaving a some dollars off the price tag.
The 360, I own all 3 consoles I do play killzone2 and resistance 2 for the ps3 as well as UT is a must have. So far 360 took the cake, lets be honest.

Apparently it was announced during Sony's presentation. I missed the beginning, so I missed hearing that announcement personally though. This is from the official PS blog though: God, I hope getting FF7 here paves the way for the rest of the games Square has released in Japan. I believe they have both Xenogears and FF Tactics already. Konami and Capcom have both said they plan on releasing games on PSN too (i.e. all the RE games, MGS, among others). I can't believe the amount of good PS1 content we've gotten on the PS Store lately. RE: Director's Cut was released the other week. Now FF7. And later this summer, Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Freaking amazing compared to what they have released over the past year.
Glad to see some stuff on the Wii I would be interested in. Really only Punch Out this whole year caught my eye. Announcing, though: New Super Mario Bros. for Wii Golden Sun DS Super Mario Galaxy 2 !!! Metroid (made by Team Ninja) Much more than I was interested in last year, which was jack **** for the most part. MS was solid. Crackdown 2, L4D2, Splinter Cell Conviction and new Halo will all likely be buys for me this year. Natal looked like it had potential, but way too early to matter. 'Milo' was just creepy. Uncharted 2 and GoW of course looked great. A sequel to FFXI with twin wands was pretty meh and kinda funny. No price drop for the PS3 and pricing the new PSP at $250 was just

Still no release date for GT5, thats pathetic. WRC and Nascare licenses are nuts, and the hint of damage blows my mind, but seriously, the least they could have done is say 9 or 10.
