Hey RC, did you ever put Linux on your PS3? I meant to do it back when the ISO first came out but never got around to it and eventually didn't care. Anyone toy around with Linux on the PS3? It never really took off like I thought it would.
Doesn't seem to be that much info on Fallout 3, but I would like to see some game play from Dragon Age.
Not yet. I mostly wanted to do that so I could play around with Linux. But I already installed Linux on my PC, so a lot of the reason for me to put Linux on my PS3 is gone. I might still do it at some point, but I don't really feel like looking into it right now. IIRC, Sony locked some things in Linux, so a lot of things weren't very easy to do (or impossible). That probably has something to do with it, although I guess people could just be spending a lot of time working around those limitations (or finding ways to "unlock" these things). Sony has the "big guns" out for this E3...Resistance 2, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet all look amazing coming in 2008-early 09 God of War 3, MAG, DC Universe to come in 2009.
How could you forget this game: I'm probably looking forward to this almost as much as R2 and LBP. I think it might be hard for both GOW3 and MAG to hit before the end of 2009, especially since they could only show CG at the conference. Maybe DC Universe too, but I haven't really paid attention to its development. Fortunately, there should be other big games in 2009 from some of Sony's other studios...or at least, I hope so.

Nintendo's press conference was so, lame it's funny. The Wii Music demo is almost unwatchable, and you feel embarrased for the people that were on the stage and had to demo it.
RC : Why do you think GOW3 will not be available in 09?? I have been dying for that game!!! In addition, I would like to request more info on GOW3 and Prototype.
Man they've been working on this ever since the 360 was release. Saw the trailer then and was amazed...did they say what the storyline was?
Mostly being pessimistic, but I feel that if they couldn't show us gameplay at E3, then the game is probably far from completion. Perhaps late 2009 is possible, although I wonder if perhaps there is some preference to releasing in the Spring like previous GOW games (Spring 2009 is out of the question, but Spring 2010 would seem likely IMO). I did see an interview with Jack Tretton and he noted that they're hoping to get it out in 2009, but it didn't sound like a firm release date to me. I don't think Prototype was at E3. It is an Activision game I believe, and IIRC, Activision decided to not have much of a presence at E3. Maybe it will be at the GC next month...I think it was there last year. I think they hinted at certain things here and there, although I tried to ignore most of it (want to wait until the blowout until I start getting really interested in the game). The few things I remember is that they want to avoid all the problems people had with the story in Indigo Prophecy. There was a recent interview at Gamasutra that covers a lot of things (haven't read it yet personally though): http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3744/dreaming_of_a_new_day_heavy_.php?page=1 The funny thing about their first trailer was that it wasn't supposed to be revealed to the public. If I remember correctly, it was just an internal project thrown together in a few weeks. I think Sony was so impressed by it that they decided to show it off themselves. It still is impressive, although it starting to show its age.
