Have you tried the PC versions? That's what I thought you meant. The console versions of Baldur's Gate were spinoffs or something like that IIRC. Not exactly sure since I haven't played any games in the series yet (was looking at getting BG1 and BG2 though). Dragon Age is basically the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate, but it probably won't show up on consoles...or shouldn't. edit: Spoke too soon.

GTTV on Spike is supposed to have some footage of Infamous, R2, BioShock PS3 (which "isn't just a port"), and some other stuff. The bad thing, which I just found out, is that apparently they're showing this during the commercials for some movie. Way to go guys. Guess I'll just play some more of Resistance and check it out online later or something.
I just read a preview of Gears of War 2 "Horde Mode" on IGN and it sounds awesome, almost like old school space invaders combined with GOW.

Just a reminder, Nintendo's conference starts at 11AM and Sony's will start at 1:30PM. Finally coming up on the Sony conference. I have a Wii but didn't really care too much about what Nintendo is cooking up. The 360 did nothing for me either. I want to know what's coming up for the PS3!
Man, this E3 has been pretty ****ty. Microsoft's was boring (until the FF and changes to XBOX Live announcement) Nintendo's was boring (other than AC, which was no surprise) Sony's so far is boring (other than some PSP games)

Good thing I actually missed the Nintendo conference. That sounded like it sucked, no big games, they only talked about wii music and wii resort. Watched both the sony and microsoft conference and it was boring. I know next year I'm going to be skipping it or only catching the last 15 mins because that's when stuff that isn't boring happens.
Yeah, GOW3 isn't this holiday. Maybe more like holiday 09. The teaser basically seemed like "Hey, buy a PS3 because we'll have GOW...at some point." Not that I expected much, but a little more would have made it easier to be excited for the game, especially since it might imply March 2009 could be possible. It doesn't help that they've been teasing about the game for the last 12 months or so. Sony showed some good stuff (especially on PSP and PSN), but it was pretty boring and predictable (maybe on par with the MS stuff prior to the FF13 announcement). I guess it didn't help that I kind of knew about MAG, R&C Quest for Booty (although I didn't know the price...sounds nice), and the video store beforehand, but I'm not sure that would have made a difference. I wonder if they even knew about FF13. They couldn't have matched it, but they could have shown a lot more than they did in order to keep people excited. Still nothing on Team Ico's game, Rockstar's game, Heavy Rain, Wardevil (probably as bad as Lair but still curious), White Knight Chronicles, etc. Actually, combined with the lack of Alan Wake from Microsoft's conference, a lot of games I was looking forward to seeing...I still haven't seen. Ugh...seems like Heavy Rain was supposed to be there too, but maybe pulled at the last minute. Yeah, not a very good E3 (at least from the big 3). I know next to nothing about Nintendo's conference, but apparently I didn't miss much. I think there are some upcoming events in Japan and Europe, so I'm hoping that this is just a sign that the 3 don't really care about E3 much anymore. Oh yeah...and thanks Sony for making the whole SKU mess even more complicated.
