The cup of life was for the 1998 world cup. I don't think it was a career move. The guy has devoted his life to helping the less fortunate, that doesn't scream attention w****. Maybe it was really bothering him holding in that secret; but wearing shoes with out socks kind of gave it away to the rest of world. Granted, certain men can wear shoes without socks like our glorious owner les or julio iglesias senior.
