I have no idea how you can read what I wrote and think that I think the ACA sucks. Unless you are trying to make a joke. I think securing and expanding the ACA is step 1. Let the ACA work without being under attack by the entire executive and legislative branches of the government, and do away with the nonsense that Senators like Rubio pulled to manipulate the risk corridors etc. That’s immediate and can be done in days with a new president. Long term we have a lot of changes that’ll progressively need to happen to get the pool to have everyone covered so costs can get as low as they can get with the high costs that healthcare providers, doctors, etc. charge in this country.
More on the topic OP posted; I think the Trump "dynasty" will happen. Despite ivanka being the obvious choice and favored child- I doubt she goes into politics. She is through and through a true NYer. If her father wasn't a GOP president, she'd be a Chelsea Clinton Democrat (btw the two of them are friends)- young, hip, "progressive" to be in with the "right crowd" in Manhattan", but no so progressive that she'd risk her wealth- and obviously pro free trade and low taxes. Donald jr on the other hand? He's aiming for a congressional or senate seat. He's a big hunter. Regularly hangs out with the evangelical crowd in the Midwest. He's tryna be a Liz Cheney; and it's probably gonna work
