I agree. Very intimate atmosphere in Aggieland. Would've been nice to be there.

Dynamo up 1-0 at the half. The aggregate is 1-1. Look to see Ching some time in the second half.

Next game: March 14, Dynamo vs. Pachuca.

The game will be at Robertson. Thankfully, it's during Spring Break so I'll be able to make it!

Just got back to Houston from the game. Damn, I had fun! There were around 4,000 people there tonight, and the Texian Army and El Batallon did a great job tonight. Can't wait to go to the next game!

We picked him up towards the end of last season. He's from Scotland, his dad is one of the if not the best player from Scotland. Paul bounced around teams in Great Britain his whole career but has always been living in his dad's shadow.

leroy420, the reason people like him isn't so much because he's that good, it's just that he's so much better than Moreno. Moreno had 3 goals in the regular season (he played 30 games) and Dalglish scored 2 in 6 games, plus 2 more in the playoffs. I think he's good, but he's too reluctant to pass and isn't that great at it when he tries.

Zach Wells had a great game last night, he had a couple of saves where he had to push the ball over the net that I'm not sure Onstad would have been able to get to. If he keeps playing like this through the rest of preseason we may have a new goalie for the season.

He pulled a calf muscle in the first leg and will be out until the start of the season.

I understand that. But that's like saying T-Mac is better than Novak. Heck, I'm a better finisher than Moreno and I only have 4 goals in my last 15 indoor games.

When Ching gets back into shape, maybe the combination of Daglish and Ching can do some damage. Moreno and Daglish are similar players. They'd both prefer to play facing the goal and running at the defense where as Ching is better with his back to goal, distributing and winning in the air.

Tough matchup with Pachuca. I hope they can pull it off.

I think Ching and Moreno's games are more similar, at least the way they were used last year. Both of them acted as the target forward that the ball would be lobbed up to so they could hold it until the midfielders got there. Dalglish brought the new dimension of somebody that would run at goal.

Personally, I'd like to see Wondoloski get some serious time with the first team, he led the reserve league in scoring for 2 years in a row and got a goal and drew a penalty in limited time last season.

Dalglish is great as long as the temps don't get too high. He moves well without the ball and is a strong finisher. He gets winded easily when it gets hot due to little to no experience ever playing outside of England/Scotland, which is obviously problematic come summer here in Houston. However, even then he is good in spurts - just can't play the full 90.
