I attended the first FC Dallas/Dynamo game in Dallas and stupid Dallas 'rowdies' did the same thing, and repeatedly so (our goalkeeper had to constantly clean up the area around him because of it in the first half...this was during actual game play, not a stoppage). It pissed me off at first, but not as much as the Dynamo losing the game...
I watched the game, and I like how the fans yell when the goalkeeper of the other team is going to kick the ball on the goal kick, they yell: ehhhhhhhh P**TO. Its good that they pick up that from mexicans fans
thats my LINE!!! btw, side story, after the game we were hanging out by the Dynamo locker room, my cousin was like "How funny it would be if one of us just shouted "JOSE" really loud", told Kam and busted out "JOSE!!!!" about 3-4 people looked at us. Kam played it off by busting out his cell pretending he was calling "Jose". Funny stuff
This man's words were prophetic, after we scored midway 1st half, KC had a more and more difficult time just trying execute their offense much less get shots on goal. Great defense by the Dynamo! On a side note, we got into "fartman's" (the goalie) head in the second half. If we would have gotten 3 or 4 more shots on goal, we would have had 3 or 4 more goals. He was completely rattled by our Texas hospitality. Once DeRo, put the knockout blow on this match, you totally saw any hope of getting in this match and pushing to extra time by the Wiz flicker out completely. They knew they were done! The Rob was rocking pretty much the WHOLE game! What an incredible atmosphere like a rock concert! Now, lets go beat those Boston Bastards!
Jessica who? Jessica Alba? If so, she was in front of me in line and talked to me. Whoever it was...she looked like her and she was HOT!!! Please tell me I spoke with Jessica Alba !!!
Like an idiot I tried to get tickets at the game. Stood in line for 45 minutes only to get 20 feet away from the booth before being told "SOLD OUT!!" Needless to say, this was a big disappointment, but we went back to my place and watched the game with a couple fat ass blunts. Not bad! I knew KC would have no chance with that crowd. Too bad we can't play the cup in Robertson.
Yes and no. The crowd would obviously be a huge lift. I just can't stand to watch tv games there. You can't see the close sideline. The football lines are kind of embarrassing. The streamers are just stupid. Other than that, a home game would be awesome.
i can tell you aren't a big soccer fan. This tradition comes mainly from latin american countries and some in europe. Its a way they welcome their team. It shows the passion and love fans have for a team. Its also a way the supporters (barra bravas) compete with each other. The better welcoming for their team has a lot of say in which supporter group is better. Since i'm Argentine, it truly is something to behold. I also am a member of El Batallon, the hispanic supporters section group for the Dynamo. Its not litering, its not being annoying, Its Passion. Americans are not used to displaying passion for teams like they do in other countries. We should learn from them in some aspects. Sports to the majority of American People is a form of Entertainment. To people in other countries, Sports is a Passion. Once you learn to enjoy soccer, it becomes a Passion. Go to a Dynamo game. Sit With the Supporters. Be willing to Cheer and Chant. Throw up some Confetti. Then come back and say it wasn't amazing. Experience it before you make a judgement. You will be glad you did.
