Cruz will be making 130K next year, and he isn't worth that much. He's a decent hustle player but I think he plays too out of control (both from a physical and ball control standpoint) for to be a regular starter.

:( Sadly, my América won't play the DYNAMO... our DYNAMO is too god for them.

Agreed on all points. I think he's very replaceable.

Lovely video by MLS productions, albeit at our Dynamo's expense.

Nothing in bad taste... I think it was a lovely video... the Gals deserved it with their better football overall (aside from a few things that could have been called correctly), but I can't see how it was at our Dynamo's expense. It's a great video. Congratulations, Galaxy.

Also, I'd like to photoshop-gif the last "spray" by Becks... :p

Oh I just meant that the video(having the Galaxy celebrating) was at the Dynamo's expense. Twas a good video, I would have just preferred it to be the Dynamo celebrating but oh well. Good stuff nonetheless.

after watching the donovan goal..i think our goalie actually altered the path of the ball into our net. initially it looked like it was going wide right..but he flicks it inward.

I guess we'll find out. He was their first pick.

On Twitter, Matthew Doyle of MLSSoccer.com speculated that Montreal selected Ching with the intention to trade him. He pegged Andre Hainault as a possibility to go to Montreal for Ching.

In a press conference after announcing the picks, head coach Jesse Marsch admitted that he was aware that Brian did not want to be in Montreal. He said that even if Brian didn't end up in their uniform, they viewed him as a player with great value. Definitely sounds like a possible trading chip.

Montreal is definitely hoping to trade him back for something. It's already a foregone conclusion that Ching will be part of the front office after he retires, now it's a question of it the team feel it's worth the cost to keep him as a player one more year. The Dynamo took a risk leaving him unprotected and got burned for it.

It's still a dick move by Montreal though.

Dick move but smart move. Now they have a trade chip. The Dynamo FO effed up on this one and now they'll have to pay for it.

why can't American clubs play proper football?

short, light passes with lots of movement?

the whole "oh ****, ball! must kick it away!" thing is starting to piss me off.

especially when the Galaxy had a proper flow going, we couldn't get ****.

    :confused::confused::confused:
How many teams in World Football much less Europe play the game that way? Not every team plays properly like that.

Plus i'm sure the British influence on US footy didn't and doesn't help.
