Well I'm batting .500 then. Maintstream America could identify Messi but knows all about Becks. It's the media we should blame.

Gotcha...hadn't realized he was young when he was over in Germany. Thought it was more recent than that. Thanks.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my post but this was my point. He won't be the big star he is hear for sure. I don't personally think he handled that well when he was younger. If he is okay with being that role player than he can succeed. I don't see him being a star.

And yes I do watch EPL, maybe not as much as before but I do follow it.

I agree with you there. I'd actually blame the media saturation for my intense dislike of Becks. Just look at this game, even when he was fouling people he was getting praised by the announcers.

odds on LA rioting in the streets?

    Nil?

The Dynamo's future still looks good. They got young guys in Bruin and Sarkodie who might be good enough to get US caps. I think they're getting U-23 looks. Brad Davis is in the prime of his career. I think he's late 20s. I'd have to look all these up though to make sure.

    Great playoff run Dynamo.

Our highest paid guy makes about 425,000 and they have 3 guys who make 2.3, 3.4 and 6.5 million respectively. Hopefully the Orange's new stadium will enable us to get a designated player/stud...perhaps from the Mexican league.

I don't give a **** where our DP comes from, just get us one that doesn't suck. The last time we had a DP, it was Luis Landin, and that dude sucked.

I'll keep it simple for you. It's on the other side of 59.

    Technically, everything goes towards 610..

Fantastic season by the dynamo. I.always felt not being able to make short passes and following/ helping teammates hindered the dynamo, it was real apparent in this game. What say you dynamo fan?

It took the galaxy 5 years, 3 all stars, 2 injured dynamo players, and a whole lot of great sub talent, and they still only beat us by one goal. You know what? I can live with that...

Well it became really obvious how much we missed Davis. No one can match what he does in the midfield. If Houston wants to repeat their success they need someone like him next year as well. Oh well. Landon Donnovan can go home tonight knowing he couldn't do it without help. It makes the win less powerful. I sort of feel the same way about them as I do the Miami Heat.

So what if they win? It's sort of expected that they do. When you have the likes of Keane, Donnovan, and Becks it's kinda pathetic if you don't.

    1. You do know this is not the LA Galaxy's first MLS championship right?
    2. You do know this is not Landon Donovan's first MLS championship right?

You must not have watched much of the Galaxy this season. Donovan is always the heart of the team and almost every season the best player on the team but this season one could certainly make the case that Becks was the best player on the team, or the entire Galaxy backline. (If one had to pick one person from the backline then Omar Gonzalez it is).
