That schedule should help to keep them fresher and more prepared for the playoffs. I was disappointed by the early exit last season, but not surprised. They simply played too many games in 2008.
They'll still have CCL games at the end of the year that aren't on the schedule yet. The group stage will start August 18 and end October 20.
Take it for what it's worth but on BigSoccer, there is talk of an announcement going down Thursday. Could be for the return Ngwenya.....we'll have to wait & see.

I mainly want to get the games to Tivo them so I can watch them later so an antenna wouldn't help. But it seems like most of the games will be either on a national broadcast (ESPN, FSC) or FSN. I'll just have to live without the rest.
I guess he wasn't ready for the big time...relatively speaking. I'm all for getting your diploma. Hopefully he gets his head on straight and makes the best decision for himself. This might be a blessing in disguise. If he wasn't ready for this, the team should give him a chance to be ready and not rush him. He's young enough and talented enough to wait it out for a while.
^ I sense the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (the artist formerly known as INS) is involved in this. I'm saying, is all. It is weird that he "left town" and that he has "personal issues".
The kid is 18. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that he wasn't ready to be on his own, hundreds of miles from mommy. I just hope that he gets his s*** together and gets back to the team.

There's rumors that it's his baby's MOMMY holding him back. Who knows whats really going on though. It could be a combination of being away from home, finishing school, taking care of his new kid, and being out of his comfort zone.
