No man, Durant is still coming and then Butler will come home too... To Tomball, Lolol. All jokes aside... Sadly I think Harden has a better chance of leaving houston vs Butler leaving Chicago. At least Chicago is trying, Houston signed... Well... Probably back to Crutch City
I find it interesting people are praising the Bulls line up but are ****ting on the Rox's team that is on par or better: Bev/Harden/Ariza/Anderson/Nene with Gordon/Beasley/Dmo/Capela VS Rondo/Wade/Butler/Mirotic/Lopez with Gibson/Portis Not only are the Rox younger they also have better quality benchplayers with Gordon, Beasley and Capela/Dmo being good enough to start on worse teams.
Wade was the rock that the Miami Heat franchise built on for the last 13 years. He made them legit and won them three titles. He deserved better. Riley has ****ed this one up IMO. Good for Chicago. They are not going to win anything but with Wade there they will sell tickets and be entertaining and possibly attract some free agents next summer. They needed this after failing to make the playoffs last season and trading away the face of their franchise for the last half a dozen years.
Well it's still the east... So maybe but I'm thinking Bosh is done, sadly. So the Heat will probably get insurance provision at end of the season so can load up again. It'd be nice though if Bosh can play, I'm not a Heat fan, but that **** is serious.
The issue with the new players is keeping them healthy... If they stay good though, then the Rockets could at least be interesting, unfortunately they're not in the east though.
I honestly feel like Harden will leave for the Lakers. He's a west coast guy, loves the luxurious life, and he doesn't seem to give a damn about winning.

Cold. Wade has never been the highest paid player on the heat, despite bringing them 3 rings and essentially stabilizing that whole franchise. You don't think he deserves a Kobe type legacy deal. He has been "the heat" for the past 13 years.
Yeah, I have a feeling you're right, these new Mega Contracts make bird rights useless (especially once you factor in endorsements), and unless Houston gets some media love or some other stars he'll be gone (especially if he isn't going to win in Houston anyway). Lakers right now are garbage and no one wants to go there but... Harden probably will, and then all will be forgiven on the all nba team snub/defense youtube clips/all-star votes etc
He deserved a good 2 year contract from the Heat and so did Hakeem (at end of career from Les). The Heat weren't doing **** anyway (much like the Rockets then). Riley and mickey got cheap, just like Les.
Miami 07-08 Shawn Marion 16.4m Dwyane Wade 13m Miami 08-09 Jermaine O'Neal 21.3m Dwyane Wade 14.4m Miami 09-10 Jermaine O'Neal 23m Dwyane Wade 15.7m Miami 10-11 LeBron James 14.5m Chris Bosh 14.5m Dwyane Wade 14.3m Miami 11-12 LeBron James 16m Chris Bosh 16m Dwyane Wade 15.6m Miami 12-13 LeBron James 17.5m Chris Bosh 17.5m Dwyane Wade 17.1m Miami 13-14 LeBron James 19m Chris Bosh 19m Dwyane Wade 18.6m Miami 14-15 Chris Bosh 20.6m Dwyane Wade 15m Miami 15-16 Chris Bosh 22.1m Dwyane Wade 20m Miami 16-17 Chris Bosh 23.7m Hassan Whiteside 22.1m Goran Dragic 15.8m Wade who is arguably the best Heat player of all time, has never been the highest paid player on his own team. Then Riley tries to low ball him with that initial offer of 10m, such a slap to the face. If Riley had never offered that 10m deal to begin with, and had just started off with that 20m per deal, Wade probably would still be a Heat.
Good for him, Riley and Miami can finally feel the HEAT burn for years to come. South beach my ass. Like this for the Bulls, but that Rondo signing feels like a horrible mistake right now. Isn't Beverley from chi town?
This is just wrong. Heat should have paid him. Giving Wade $50 million wouldn't have been another Kobe deal because Wade is still a very good player. I respect Riles tremendously, but he's put himself on the hot seat. He better take advantage of this by making serious hay next summer.
Yeah, they should have paid him, pretty cheap on their part. He's the freaking all-time franchise player.
Wade is still performing whereas Kobe was injured when he got his last deal and never displayed anything near the caliber of the contract he was paid. Heat and Riley #$%#@# up. Not saying he's worth it, but losing Wade who is highly respected and being a 1 club man, Riley and Heat lose a lot of credibility.
Yea, Lakers made Kobe the highest NBA paid player when he just had a season ending injury the year before and they thought it was smart to give a 35 years old that was still injured in November and couldn't play in November the biggest contract in the NBA at that time
