Carl touched on it elsewhere - LA will probably be linked to almost every single FA. They have a ton of money and are a 'premiere destination'. I don't think Wade ends up anywhere other than Miami or Cleveland, which would be purely out of spite.

Yes, if there were any takers, which I doubt. He has 4 yrs, $98 million remaining on his contract. That makes him untradeable to any teams that have the summer of 2016 in mind.

I say this even if the blood clot issue doesn't affect his value.

its funny, and almost certainly true. but i dont think morey would take anthony or bosh right now no matter what the trade would be.

I think for anybody other than Harden, he would consider BOTH of those players. A healthy Anthony or Bosh are both beasts. Of course our defense would suffer if Dwight (hypothetically speaking) be traded, but outside Harden and Dwight, for either of those players.

Might as well go back home and play for Chicago.

As a lot of us said at this time last year, retaining Bosh by driving up huge truck full of cash might have been a short term boost for the Heat but it now looks like an absolute disaster for everybody except for Chris Bosh.

Gutting the entire roster just to overpay a lineup for Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside?

They aren't getting to the ECF with that lineup if only due to age and health issues. With no depth there either they're better off letting Wade walk and signing some dudes from the D-League. They're going to finish as a fringe eastern playoff team either way.
