Dwyane Wade: I'll give up partying IF awarded custody

I don't blame Wade for divorcing his wife, I mean she was pretty ugly.

This is his girlfriend now.

 

It doesn't help that Wade surrounds himself with people like Lebron's mother.

i mean i have always loved wade as a player, and i can tell he is a cool person too, he seems like the type of goofy guy like dh12/ he gives of a good guy vibe. and i respect what he is doing.

remember guys, he said they were coming to him, when jimmy asked him would he have left to cleveland if they had decided to join there instead and he said no. he made them come to him. he is loyal to his team, and i respect him. im sure he will keep his word... to do this and give up his lifestyle takes balls.

props to wade for being the man, and for being the father.

so if he gets custody he change, and if he doesn't get custody he'll not change...?

 

If he doesn't get custody of the children what would be the point of him not going out?

Getting custody of the kids would give him more responsibility.

 

what does it matter who has custody of rich kids? they're raised by nannies and the help anyway. Not like D Wade is gonna be home every night for dinner.

I dont think its as conditional as people are making it. Wade didn't say I WONT stop partying if I DON'T get the kids. Or the ONLY thing that'll get me to stop being an out of control party beast is if you lay kids on me.

He didnt necessarily hand his kids over. Its all court ordered legal proceedings that have to take place to decide that. His ex made up all kinds of crazy claims against Wade making him look 20 times more unfit than he looks now, to stall the process. She also gets no child support money if he gets joint custody, so she's not going to let that happen too easily.

 

I think Wade is the best person in the NBA that I know of.

Not to say he hasn't made mistakes, but given the spotlight he has to face, he seems to be a genuinely good person who is mature in his decisions.
