NBA is so filled with drama man.

Sad thing about it, now because of what Frakken Durant said Wade will play extra hard for the Rockets games.

    Thanks Durant.

I thought it was basically already agreed that Harden has surpassed Wade in the SG spot and even Kobe for most

On the Rockets forums, maybe. I don't think it's the popular opinion.

Yeah. I have accepted that my opinion of Harden is different from the general basketball viewing population. I have to remind myself of this when I venture outside of CF. I mean, I would only trade the guy for LeBron. And to many people that would sound ridiculous.

I'd like to see Wade "make [Durant] respect [him] ... again ..." without LeBron on his team.

Because Durant already is and has been better than Wade ever was for probably two years now and Wade obviously is declining.

Everyone is saying Wade is declining but as long as he has the willpower to dominate when it counts, I can care less about the regular season and his overall stats.

Who cares if he is behind Harden one, two spots. He is still an Allstar when it counts. Obviously he is getting old but he is not useless and his ranking should be seen as an encouragement.

Durant might be the superior player but he is playing for a small market in the West and his chances to win a championship will be tough for years.
He can thank OKC for giving up Harden to make it even harder.

That's fine. I'm not saying Wade sucks. He's just not as good as Durant and he would be in no position to make Durant "respect him again", i.e. beat the Thunder in a series, without LeBron on his team.

Edit: I guess whether or not he's actually referring to beating the Thunder two years ago and doing so again isn't really clear. If making Durant respect him again is just about showing Durant he's better than Harden, ok, he's entitled to feel that way. Still a silly way to go about it, but whatever.

You mean like in the play-offs last when He really wasn't a factor at all.
He is not even in the same conversation as Harden anymore.

It's not just about Harden, Wade or Durant.
Both are younger than Wade but at the end championships count. And Wade has three and counting. Individual accolade counts less when they can't get to the Finals every year or win it all consistently. Ask Tmac, Barkley, Iverson....

Heat has still an easier road in the East, the best player in Lebron, and Wade can still be a productive player....

Of course Durant can go and pair up with other superstars when he feels about it differently but now that Durant hasn't even gotten close to a game 7 in the Finals he should not even open his mouth even if he is right about all.
Lebron kept his mouth and delivered championships, Wade is now in the twilight of his career, has championships to show off and has the right to actually debate about this issues...
Harden has a long way to go......

Its popular opinion. Maybe not in Miami. Wade was a non factor for the entire playoffs last season. He's older and relies on his athleticism more than Harden does.
