Lin going to average more assist per game. No knock on Turkish boy. At no time last year did the he have the lob option above the rim option on the pick and roll or pin down. Im glad Shao Lin, Black Amish, and Howard on the same team.
You obviously haven't watched DMo and Jones. These two guys were barely replacement level players last season and will need to make a major jump to even be "solid."
I think he is overpaid. I even made a thread about it, comparing salaries of starting point guards and their stats. He was getting paid more than his numbers deserve. That being said, he is not that bad.
i think Dwight would prefer Harden but in reality a Lin pick and roll will work better harden likes to use the pick and then step back for the 3 too much
You may think that, but your wrong. I never saw your thread but I'm gonna guess that you didn't differentiate between those who were in their rookie contract (since they are highly underpaid) and those who weren't. The only objective way to see if someone earned their pay is to compare them to other people who are in a comparable situation. A pg being paid about the same. The 3 closest pgs in terms of pay to Lin are Jameer Nelson, Devin Harris and Mo Williams. Jeremy outperformed all 3 in total assists and points by a large margin. And btw, all 3 got paid more than him. Lin easily earned his pay last year. Whether he earns his pay next year, no one knows til the season ends.
