    Broussard on Mike & Mike:

**(Chances Bynum or Howard end up in Houston?): Rockets have tried. A for effort. At this point, Dwight is still saying Brooklyn. For that to happen, he needs to mend fences with Orlando and start the season there and get traded in January or February. Nets are doing right thing moving on but the thought is still in the back of their mind. Dwight's reps and Dwight still want Brooklyn. Houston or LA are the only real destinations for Dwight and I feel like he'll end up in LA but so many obstacles. Bynum won't commit long term to Orlando. Houston would be a good 3rd team to facilitate. Cleveland could get involved. All in flux right now.

I would trade maybe even 3 of our rookies to get him IF he were excited about going to Houston and was willing to sign an extension here...

But the way he is acting and talking, I'd really rather see our young guys develope. Let them all play, get a high lottery pick and then see how we can continue... Don't bet the house on a dram queen that comes of a big injury and doesn't want to play here...

I think Dwight's thought has nothing to do with the trade. Magic will take the best offer available.

These reports frustrate me. Would would Orlando give two $hits about where Dwight lands. He has done nothing but whine and complain for the past two years and people actually think that the team is going to sacrifice their rebuilding to make him happy?

Hah. Even this guy doesn't want to acknowledge any possibility that Houston may still target a direct deal with Orlando and cut out anyone else?

I've seen ESPN report that our ability to make that kind of deal would be affected by having Lin and winning Asik, and we would no longer be able to eat as much cap space as we wanted. That means ESPN is still buying into that huge trade they said the Rockets were about to do and the rest of the media pretty much shot down...

Come on Chris. Your a smart enough reporter to know that this Brooklyn fantasy is not going to happen. Stop trying to create false interest. Dwight and his camp can say Brooklyn all they want, but there is just no way this deal gets done and Orlando has to do whats in their best interest to do at the end of the day.

At the end of the day, I have yet to see a better deal for Orlando unless they are able to get Bynum to commit long term and trade him straight up to LA.

Dan Gilbert is such a punk. Whining to David Stern in a profanity-ridden comic sans e-mail stating that the Lakers are evil and it isn't fair to form a superteam. All of the sudden he's facilitating Dwight Howard to the Lakers to team up with Kobe, Pau, and Steve Nash? Ridiculous.

If that's the framework of the deal, all the Lakers do in the trade is upgrade their center position. Unbelievable.

I hope Morey jumps in at the last second to show that a) Dwight Howard doesn't run the show here. He'll play in Houston and like it. and b) Expose Ric Bucher and the ESPN r****ds that we aren't a bottom-feeding team like the Wizards. They've been wrong repeatedly about Houston this off-season.

You dont approach a player in that manner and expect him to sign long-term.

    Just sayin.

Bucher is just a mouthpiece trying to create controversy for whoever (Magic/Lakers/Nets).

You might even call him a troll at this point. Not sure whether or not it's because of me paying more attention to him/ESPN/the media in general, but he's becoming so ridiculous, I can't even take him seriously anymore. His opinions/agendas are just so stupid, biased and far fetched, it's not even funny anymore.
He's reached the Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith level.

It's clear Bucher (who I generally like) is just parroting what Dwight Howard's agent is telling him. As a Rockets fan, it's frustrating to hear. Sounds to me like Dwight (e.g. his Agent) wanting NY or LA as a money grab for the Adidas shoe deal bonus.

If money is an issue, then if the Rockets get Howard, not sure he leaves the $30M 5th year on the table.

Why is everyone lettin' Bucher troll them?

The more he speaks, the lower the price for the Rox.

I say it's GREAT when he talks 'cause he's lowering the price for Morey every report he makes.
