I bet if they stayed together, they would win more rings than Dwight.

In summer league, future stars in the NBA play against other future stars in the NBA. Our future stars went 4-1.
In other news, CAT is spelled........

Last time I checked, Dwight has played in more NBA finals games than our "young superstars in the making" aka our 1 lotto pick and 3 non lottery picks.

Shoe deal in Los Angeles or New York/Brooklyn irrelevant, Dwight can't get there unless we or Orlando play ball, and it doesn't look like either of those things are going to happen. Big part of why he's scared to get traded here, no chance at getting his precious endorsement deal no matter what happens.

Other part is, there are no bigger/sexier markets available for him to walk away to as a free agent. He blew it when he opted in, so he's trying to fix the problem by leveraging his way into one of those cities via trade.

When neither of that works, we'll see if he's a professional, or a giant spoiled brat. I don't think CDave talking about Dwight throwing a fit and making it a media circus is impossible, he's already doing it now to Orlando. But every day he does it, his reputation gets more damaged, and at the end of the day he's got to realize that it's not going to get him what he wants.

Dwight is a guy who cares about the money, and also cares about his rep. In the end, I believe (I'm not certain) that he'll choose to shut up and play basketball, then when it comes time to decide whether to leave $30M on the table or stay in Houston, he'll stay in Houston.

morey wasted a year chasing melo, which would have been a huge mistake had we landed him. and now morey's replicated the same mistake, chasing a superstar with tainted character, all over again. smh.

What a lame day. We all literally had the same exact argument we've had the last month without a new rumor to wrinkle in.

For all we know, they're waiting on Asik. Once that's taken care of, we can start to form an angry mob.

Yep ... if Howard and Bynum weren't dysfunctional and damaged goods we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

the most Brooklyn and L.A. can offer him next summer is the $5M MLE., if we don't agree to sign-n'-trade.

You don't think Morey has the stones to call Dwight's bluff? He totally will.

Please tell Morey just don't give up Lamb, even for a re-signed Dwight.

Lamb + Lin + Dwight = the next great Big 3

These are the bright minds of ClutchFans for you. Jeremy Lamb is now better than Dwight Howard signed to long term deal.
