i mean... it is what it is. They are at the forefront of manipulation and political propaganda, completely butchering the facts. according to a close jewish friend, it's because they feel they are righting the wrongs done to them historically - not so much related to balancing out the current political climate.

That being said, I fully believe Israel is it's own state AND ENTITY, and sometimes you just have to let go as a Palestinian and settle in places like Jordan, Syria, adjacent nations. to facilitate this, israel should provide financial aid to set up communities - it will still be cheaper than the loss of life and tension.

I'm honestly not well versed on this topic, but from my understanding Israel's only claim to the land is that it's in their holy book. That doesn't seem like much of a claim, let alone one to base a war on.

I know it's an awfully simplified view, but from what I have gathered that seems to be the case.

I'm not religious myself, but it seems very ungodly and unjust to take away another nations land because a questionable book says it's yours.

 

So, I'm with Dwight. Casspi's twitter is crazy political, though!

 

I'd also like to note that there have been plenty of time countries have offered up land to become an israel so they would leave palestinians alone, but they never accept it. Hell, a state in my home country (Australia) was offered at one point!

Well sorry mate, that is not a solution because if we know one thing by now is that when something goes wrong in the world, it will always be the jews who get blamed and chased after. Pretty sure your statements are incorrect and twisted. I actually have been watching the news on multiple sources. Lol, that's why isreal wants to do a ground invasion. Casualties on both sides ?. I just told you isreal a missel defense system Palestine does not. Palestine is shooting more missels into isreal fact. Also their are casualties on isreal side just yesterday in isreal a gas station got hit and killed 7 people. Isreal has a defense system. Targeting civilians. Hamas is hidining in civilian homes!. Nothing I said in both post is opinionated?????????. It's all facts. Isreal wants to do a ground invasion to catch these terrorist like you said but lord knows they will be criticized for that to. That would probably be a good start as a peace offering. Even if that does not stop the conflict, it removes one of the justifications as to why Hamas is doing what they are doing.
