Harden had a really good series. Actually, scratch that, he had a GREAT series and played the best he's ever played in the playoffs. His prior performances have been hit/miss, whereas he consistently played well vs. GS and put together some really incredible performances.

There is no trashing JH after this series, and we lost to GS because they're better than us, simple as that.

That said, having been a fan for a while now, I remember vividly how outraged people were by 'the day t-mac lost houston', and although I love Clutch, it was the one article that I felt was far more hysteria than substantial criticism. T-mac, for all his flaws, fought as hard as any player in the playoffs, and in one regular season game, while frustrated by his declining ability and physical health, had a bad moment. By comparison, we could easily compile a string of 'the day Harden lost Houston' videos showing moments over the past two seasons where the team is losing, he's having a bad game, and just elects to pout and not run back on defense.

These are playoff situations, and I really wish McHale pulled him last game given his lack of effort and poor body language. As I mentioned in the game thread, I didnt care that we lost, but was frustrated that we were losing with a guy playing like a loser.

I guess the difference is that JH is having these moments while he's still a superstar in the league, and we can only hope he matures next season and develops as a player with a better supporting cast.
