While a poor work ethic and failure are common bedfellows, a good work ethic and success aren't anywhere near as related.

D12 needs to be traded. If he's not, hopefully he opts out at the end of the season.

I doubt he opts out, but it would be better for the Rockets organization if he did.

If Dwight would accept his role, Rebound, play D, and PnR all day long we would be better, but we really need a more versatile big than Howard, and that might be Capela sooner than later.

    22 points, 18 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

7-9 from the field and +14 in 36 minutes.

A truly awful player. I hope we trade him for scraps

+ made Cousins look like a rookie. That block of Cousins that led to the Harden to Jones fastbreak jumpstarted the run and was the key sequence of the game.

I mean, hasn't Dwight been doing that this year? Less post-ups for sure.

    Great game tonight.

I'm not sure that last part is a valid criticism this year. Seems he's done just that and accepted his role. He doesn't even call for post ups anymore aside from maybe once in a while. I think the team still gives him 2-3 a game just to see what happens and to make him feel involved on offense.

Dwight is doing great this year aside from his wonky "playing/not playing" circus.

He's certainly not an elite player any longer if you ask me but he's still at top 3 C in the league and can make a big impact.

I agree. Gone are the days where he will power up through people to finish at the rim, but when he gives it all he is still a great defensive player and rebounder.

calm down people, we barely beat the very bad kings while shooting 50% from 3, attempting 45 (to 13)FTs.

Standards are low around here these days.

It wasn't because of Dwight that the kings were close

dude dwight has accepted that role, are you kidding me? he barely gets any post ups. all he does is rebound, play D, and set picks.

Capela is going to be good, but he doesn't have the mass to clog space in the paint and bang with the big guys. He's also not the rebounder that Dwight is.

Don't underestimate Dwight. We need him.

the kings are not very bad...they were 7-13 coming into the game and still can be dangerous with some of the guys they have.

7-13 is not good, but its not "very bad"

    Mean reversion works both ways.

I agree, he had a pretty good game although I think he could have finished some baskets better, but you know I'd take this Dwight the rest of the way.

Yes it does, All I'm saying is we still have a long way to go although we've been improving the past couple of games.

In my opinion, when we shoot 50% from 3 and get 45 FTs , we should be winning games by at least 20.

He does whine when he doesn't get the ball in the low block, and he goes down there and tries pretty often. Accepting your role is doing what Bogut and Deandre Jordan do and don't even try.

Where can you find a Dwight replacement? If you can't, you better keep him, or let the Warriors in every year. We got beat by a championship team and a player out of this world. Better grow to like Dwight, once he is gone, we will be in the dark ages.

Last year in the 2nd night of a Back to back in December, a much better Rockets team required 44 points from Harden and OT to beat a worse, Cousins-less Kings team.

Then after 51 points by Harden later in the year at home they crushed a Kings team playing for the lottery...by 4 and only because Harden was unreal down the stretch

It's a tough league, you take wins when you can get them.
