Having Dwight in the post is pretty important. Yeah, he'll get blocked and turn the ball over more than we'd like, but he'll also get opposing bigs in foul trouble. He also did a much better job tonight of passing out of the post.

Just let Dwight eat in the post! It isn't fair that just because he gets a couple TO's here and there, or misses a bunny after getting to the rim, they go away from him and some people here don't think his postups are effective. It's a long game, it will work eventually. I would feed him all day! let him get fat in the paint.

You see what happened when they started doubling after crushing all the big men (Lopez is no slouch defensively)... the double started and then Harden had his way.

Going to Dwight in the post REALLY opens up the offense and I think it gets him in a better rhythm.

Much more patient tonight in the post. His basic fundamentals in the post, while rudimentary, are better than people give him credit for. His touch is never going to be Hakeem like, but he showed tonight that he can be affective and be the focal point for stretches this season. Very good signs.

The key to your success is going to be Dwight in the post. Too bad he doesn't have a mean streak. He could average Shaq type numbers if he tried.

dwight doesn't really post up at all, almost everything looks like a face up to me

he catches it back to the basket, but he turns and goes face up like a pf 80% of the time

He looked much more explosive tonight.

He is getting better every game, which is good news.

He starts off with his B2B from the block. Any move from the post IS a post up, face up or otherwise.

That pick n roll between Dwight and Harden was bread and butter. Harden attack and then change direction and move to the middle for a wide open 2pt shot. I think that is unstoppable...they need to keep doing that.

If we don't get anything early in the offense, just dump it down low to Dwight. Odds are, something good will come from it. I've been saying it all along, he needs more shot attempts/touches. He finally got enough tonight, and you can see the result.

At the end of games it may be different, but in the first 3 quarters:

    Dwight isoball > Harden isoball

Harden is a top 3 offensive player overall, and a much better offensive player than Dwight. He is an elite PnR scorer and great spot up shooter. But when it comes to iso, I'll take the guy 5 feet from the basket rather than 20 feet.

All I know is if Dwight hits free throws like tonight...it's game over

Imagine if we had the "real lesser Howard" to help Howard instead of a semi fake one. Then it is indeed GAME OVER.

Funny enough, both Harden and Dwight have one move that they always go to. Harden always takes that stepback jumper, and Dwight always does that running hook. They're just really good moves. Harden's stepback jumper was falling tonight in the 4th quarter.
