Are you saying Juwan Howard could not have finished that play?

I see what you mean about the pass being a bit off and Dwight going to get it but I still think Timmy gets some of that ball or at least stops Howard from finishing. Duncan seems to have not only lost some athleticism but has sort of lost his "feel" for the game on both ends of the court. He just isn't as sharp as he used to be.

I don't think TD has lost a lot athleticism. I think when he came out of Wake Forest the PF position was dominated by bruisers like Charles Oakley and Karl Malone. Over the last 10 years there has been a revolution in terms of athleticism and what a 7 footer can and can't do. Big guys can shoot and jump out of the gym these days. When Duncan came into the league there weren't any Dwight, Amare, Bosh, Wilcox, J O'Neal types at the PF position, so he seemed very athletic in comparison to guys like Oakley.

Duncan, Kobe, Tmac may not be as athletic as they once were, but in terms of their overall game, they're better than ever.

We'll have to respectfully disagree. :)

Dwight Howard has the wingspan of Sampson and the vertical and hangtime of a Vince Carter.

No big guy has that much hangtime. The pass was 4-5 feet behind him.

I watched the game last night and Sean Elliot said David Robinson couldn't have done that in his dreams.

Dwight had a great block on Parker right before that dunk. What a great sequence. What a great athlete. He's adding to his game. He will be downright scary.

What a way to cap a 30 point night! If/when Dwight Howard adds some offensive skills to his game, the NBA better watch out.

Dwight is the only person in the league that has the raw talent to match Dream. The kid is just sick. If I were Howard, I would crash the Dream/Okufer summer sessions and take my game to the next level. Dwight could be the next Dream in Shaq's body.

He doesn't have the quickness or agility that Dream had. I can't really think of any player he reminds me of. He is more powerful than any of the dominant Centers of recent years other than Shaq but he is nowhere near as strong as Shaq was/is.

He is more like a Dream/Shaq hybrid IMO. He needs to develop his offense or he will end up being a very poor man's Shaq. If he could get half the offensive arsenal that Dream had he could carve out his own identity among the greats of all time.

He's just like David Robinson but probably jumps higher.

Robinson was taller, not nearly as strong but was quicker and had much more skill. People forget that Robinson was considered by most people to be the best center in the league for a few years. Then, of course, Hakeem decided to become the best player in the league.
