That's so r****ded if true. Why would they kill his trade value? Makes very little sense unless it's some sort of outlandish ploy to hold him hostage in Orlando.
btw when Dwight says "the magic have driven away every superstar theyve had in the past", i think we all know who he's talking about..
I must say, I would take whatever story Howard is selling to this fan with a grain of salt. We know Dwight cares a lot about his public image. Why would he knowingly let Orlando destroy that, as claimed, without speaking up about it in public? This just sounds like some immature brat crying for sympathy points to anyone who will listen. We also know he is desperate. Either his camp or a rival suitor is leaking info on 'where Dwight will sign, where he wants to go, etc etc'. All this business about him sitting out and being severely injured could just be him killing his own value to goad Orlando into trading him sooner rather than later. Nothing much leaked so far has been helpful to the Magic organization. I think the dude is just very emotional right now, has been acting like a self-destructive teenager, and probably didn't underdstand how badly he was killing his own image. Perhaps he is slowly realizing it now, and trying to blame everything on his current employers. Dwight is acting like a moron and making a spectacle out of himself. I'm not even sure his agent has his full attention. Dan Fegan, if he were in control, would have had him decline his player option and bolt to New Jersey. Fegan isn't making any money (I read somewhere) off his current NBA contract. All I can say is the Dwightmare is living up to its name. How bizarre, how bizarre.
He means that what we have heard and read did not come from his mouth, and were actually made-up rumors by others, since he has never made a public statement stating his position. His twitter comment, if true, however, came from him directly.
I don't think it's all that crazy for a polarizing guy like Dwight to want to change the world, or at least make an impact on it. Obviously it would go beyond his career. Look at Deke, he's making a difference. Imagine if it was MJ opening hospitals and stuff.
I thought Dwight stopped using twitter whenever all this drama started? Seems strange that he would sign on and then start sending random people stuff.
the most important part is he still can't run- he had major back surgery- if you're assuming 100% recovery as your base case then you are wack.
