According to a good amount of delusional thinking that's running rampant through this forum.... Everyone not named Harden or McHale needs to be perfect to be given the benefit of the doubt as to where they deserve a certain level of praise or not... Harden can play miserably poor for the entire series... still has benefit of the doubt... McHale can fail miserably throughout the series, to the point that outside intervention (Mario Elie/Olajuwon speaking to the team) and even a fellow player (Dwight "coaching" Lin on self-confidence) has to step in to turn things around for one game... Dwight a superstar...? Nah... real superstars put those numbers consistently through the regular season where it counts... Herp-a-derp... Lin played well and helped bail Harden and Parsons' out by providing them with a close game situation (it doesn't happen without his great play that game) to be "clutch".... The response by the fans is : Let's not go nuts guys, if not for Harden and Parsons clutch shots we don't win that game... ahurrhurr... Look what this insane part of the fandom has reduce me too... my god...
Been really impressed with Dwight this series, he's definitely been very decisive in his post moves, even pulled a few of hakeem's out of the big, albeit nowhere near as smooth =P His defense at the rim has stellar as well, and doing about as well as can be expected for him at the ft line.
He is dominating in this series. The other players need to feed him early and more often. If he can knock one or two of their bigs into foul trouble early, our chance of winning is going to rise dramatically.
Don't get me wrong, Dwight Howard is a great center and I'm glad the Rockets have him at a time that centers aren't as prevalent as they were in the late 80's and early 90's. He's doing the best he can, but he will never be as fluid in motion as Hakeem was. Like The Great Bruce Lee once said..."flow like water."..
Sigh... It's pretty sad that Dwight has been the only consistent player. James, if there was ever a game to show up, tonight would be a good night to.
All year includes playoffs. And no because he doesn't play defense. LeBron, CP3, Durant. That's who I'm talking about.
Superstars also make their players better and support each other. I like what Dwight did with Lin he knew Lin made a mistake but Dwight supported him and Lin played good in game 5.
