how does this add to the narrative that howard is injury prone when smith fell into his knee?

    "bone on bone"

i saw some periscope video with dwight telling fans he doesn't want to fight, and referencing "there was this guy, from way back, ya'll probably don't know, kermit, uhh, kermit washington, and his whole career changed after he hit someone, and i don't wanna ruin my career like that"

he didn't even know it was our rudy T

i love dwight on the court, but i don't take most of what he says off the court too seriously

Wow, respect just grew for the big fella. I also fear he will not be there or at least not a 100% in the play-offs and will maybe even miss big chunks of the regular season as well.

Dwight makes stuff up to get people to like him, what he says must be taken with a large shaker of salt.

Capela is no more limited than Howard. Truthfully Capela seems to thrive in pick n roll plays were Howard tends to try and demand the ball in the post where his results are a mixed bag, makes a jump hook, draws the foul (then free throw adventure), travels, fumbles the ball, charges, explosive spin dunk.
We don't need Howard's offense, we need his rebounding and that would be the drop off in performance with Capela on the court. Limited offense NO rebounding maybe.

Capela has shown the knack for making solid timely passes. I think the more Baby Swiss Chocolate plays the more confidence he gets. By play-offs his game will be very effective.

I'd keep Howards minutes to 28-30 most nights and let Capela get more minutes when possible.

His knee was obviously injured after Smith rolled on it. I don't understand the hatred. It's not like Tmac who gave up after a small injury. Dwight had back surgery, his knee does swell up. These are facts and they aren't contradicted by doctors.

So I suppose knee issues will be a recurring issue for him this year. Hopefully Capella proves to be a capable replacement.

Umm.. that's kind of what he did back in May when he didn't mention any of this and then swatted more blocks and grabbed more rebounds than anyone in the entire NBA playoffs.

    Were you paying attention then?

You should know that this strategy doesn't always work out.

They hid James' ankle sprain too. I'm not sure how I feel about them hiding these injuries, but at the same time it's saving us the fans from the media making too big of a deal over these things.

Leave him out of the B2Bs and sit him out from New Years to maybe 10 games remaining before playoff starts.

Capela and DMo should be able to get some minutes and valuable experience (Capela)

Certain measures are going to be taken to ensure Dwight stays fresh all season. Pop started with TD a long, long time ago. That's why being very deep will help in so many ways.

Dwight channeling his inner T-Mac; playing hurt in the playoffs and tearing it up, completely putting the team on his back.

    So much heart.
