KBergCBS Ken Berger Brilliant. RT @MagicInsider Otis Smith usually scoffs at most of my armchair GM ideas. But he didn't reject my Dwight-for-LeBron trade.
Lebron for Dwight would be a nuclear bomb. It would make Miami the Bulls of the 90s. Way better than Wade/Lebron/Bosh imo. Can't trust Lebron in the playoffs, better to have two beasts in the post and Wade handling the rock in crunch time instead of this Wade/Lebron awkward sharing thing.
If I'm Miami, I accept that in a heart beat. Chalmer/Wade/Battier/Bosh/Dwight is alot more balanced and a better overall team than Chalmers/Wade/LeBron/Bosh/Anthony
WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski Says one Western Conference executive: "The Lakers are shifting toward trying to make a Dwight Howard deal." https://twitter.com/#!/WojYahooNBA/status/145732480941572096
Man, that's as bad as Rick Pitino's "We weren't giving up on Chauncey! We thought he was fantastic!" after trading him 50 games into his rookie season after being the #3 overall pick.
Anybody would ,but your locker room would be nuked in terms of chemistry. Bosh and Wade won't be happy and would push back.
Nuked of what? That team's only been together for a year. Wade Bosh Dwight and Batman would dominate this league
Or he could be saying: "In any other situation I'd play for this CITY, but my TEAM, teammates, and front office suck so I'm out."
Agreed. LeBron has showed he can't play off-ball as well as he can play with the ball in his hands all the time. So it'll benefit him. Miami will get the greatest front court duo in recent league history, with arguably a top two back court player in Dwyane Wade. Everybody wins except for the other 28 teams in the league.
Wade+Bosh+Miller for Howard+Richardson. Lebron and Howard would compliment each other way too well. Sign up Billups and there you go baby. Billups/Chalmers Richardson/Jones Lebron Haslem/ Howard/Anthony
WindhorstESPN Brian Windhorst In Orlando, just finished talking with Dwight Howard. Said trade demand stemmed from team not acting on his personnel suggestions. WindhorstESPN Brian Windhorst Howard said he made suggestions on trades/signings for years that were ignored. Said he currently has no relationship w/ GM Otis Smith.
ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein RT @MagicInsider: Possibly stunning development: Dwight Howard softens stance. "This is place I want to be but some things have to change" WindhorstESPN Brian Windhorst After meeting with team, Dwight Howard seemed to re-open door to staying with Magic if there are "changes." Story coming. I hope he stays. This throws a huge monkey wrench into Lakers and Nets future plans. They may lose out on both CP3 and Howard.
