like a b**** he simply defected to the dark side. after years and years of getting f@cked by silver’s zebras, he latched onto the featured money team like a shameless collaborator in the rigging charade
Doesn't matter. He has a ring and our franchise continues to rot. Now parsons needs one and we will forever be the joke of the nba. Thank you Les and thank you Tillman. As much as there is a growing list of people who latched on to lebron for championships there is a growing list of players that have played in Houston and gone on to win titles elsewhere which needs to stop.
It kinda does matter. You think people are going to remember Dwight as a role playing NBA Champion or constant locker room cancer for the prime of his career?
Deserves? He routinely ran himself out of towns and is universally unliked by his teammates. Dude never worked to improve his game and often blamed others. Playing 15 min/game on a championship team he had little to do with isn't much of an accomplishment. This is barely above tmac making the finals with the spurs
Breaking news: an NBA player who played for an NBA team has won a title with another NBA team. Definitely only happens to the Rockets and no other NBA team. The fact that you think about this is weird.
Definitely a HOFer but champion.... That's a reach!... I was a big Howard fan till he got here... Then the Rockets media bamboozled me into thinking he was the next "great Rockets center""...
Shaq was right, he was never quite the Shaq. I always thought Shaq was more of an offense player with defensive abilities. Howard was the opposite with limited Offense, even at his best self in 2009.
Unpopular opinion, but I'm happy he'll get a ring. I still appreciate that he chose Houston. Ended poorly, but he's taken a lot of s*** and at least he'll get a ring.
Dwight won a title because clearly got in touch with reality that he ain’t that good and accepted a bench role on another Lebron super team. Harden is not so mentally weak as to jump to a team so he can win a championship. He took on being on a bench early in his career, now he’s got his own team. He had let his play do the talking. Hakeem didn’t win his first championship till l Yup, Kobe would not approve.
He’s finally playing in the role he should’ve been playing in for the past 10 years. The Rockets foolishly thought he could be the #2 on a championship team. On the Lakers he’s like, what?, the 4th or 5th best player....at best? He finally realized he’s not a post player, and just focuses on defense, rebounding, and putbacks.
Dwight did his job. 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 turnover, and 3 personal fouls. Sounds about right. Hey...when he has the ring...I don't think Dwight is going to be on social media defending himself for getting a ring the supposedly wrong way. The Lakers signed him and they just happened to have Lebron James and Anthony Davis. Dwight apologizes!
