The way the Magic are drilling 3-pointers, no reason for them to give Howard the ball. Plus, the Blazers announcers say he has a pulled oblique muscle and is in pain. After dominating at the start of the game, something has clearly happened to Howard.

What a game! Blake's turnover gave the Magic a 3-pointer. After a shot-clock violation, Turkey-Glue with the lucky 3-point bank shot at the buzzer. Too bad this game had to have a loser.

    Just as you wrote that...

Hedo killed it from three. Wow. 9-0 run to close the game.

Well, one more loss for the Blazers :D

and yeah, on topic, Dwight is the best center currently (and we're taking the first 20 games of this season).

he's a liability at the ft throw line. Even the announcers mentioned this as reason why they aren't even looking for the big man late in close game.

Jamal Mashburn and Jon Barry just agreed YAO IS THE BEST CENTER. Dwight is the best defensive center, but not overall.

Sorry, Dwight and the Magic fan OP.

And by the way, by the time Dwight Howard gets skill he will be caught with steroids.

    He is screwed either way.

I'm gonna say Dwight is the best overall.
    Dwight's defense >>> Yao's defense.
    Yao's offense > Dwight's offense.

Dwight because he is way more rounded.
Also you can't just use one matchup to determine who's better.
DWill owns CP3 but you'd be crazy not to pick chris as the better point guard.

Outside of Dunking and clanking free throws.

Seriously, how is Dwight even comparable to Shaq? Shaq even admitted during his magic years and his young years he never really played defense, while Dwight is more known for Defense.

Not to mention, Shaq had skill and moves, Dwight doesn't have any of that.

They have nothing in common, Dwight is a glorified Tyson Chandler.

The latest update on the glorified Tyson Chandler vs Yao Ming.

    Dwight Howard

    21.1 ppg 14.1 rbg 1.5 apg .8 spg 3.9 bpg

The 23 year old leads the league in rebounding and blocked shots.

    Yao Ming

    19.0 ppg 9.9 rbg 1.5 apg .5 spg 1.7 bpg

Doesn't lead in anything other than free throw shooting percentage, turnovers, and fouls per game.
