What you know, Chris Bosh lighted up Dwight Howard and exploded for 40 points, 18 rebounds! Jermaine O'Neal had a double-double on Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard did not have a double double in this game, and can't even crack 20 points!

Chris Bosh just owned Dwight Howard tonight!

 

I realize most people outside of Houston and Orlando would take Howard, and going forward, most Rockets fans see the writing on the wall. But IF IF IF Yao stays healthy and plays a full season, it's debatable which guy is the better player right now. Before the season I would have given the edge to Yao, but if his mobility doesn't improve as the season goes on, it's Howard. I'm getting concerned the old Yao will never return.

 

I have no problem participating in this, one more reason I love Rocket fan. But forgive me for not getting into a slap-fest with this cadet troll. I've read 4 pages of his posts, and this guy is a flat out moron.

You said it best with the "If, If, If". Yeah, IF he could remain healthy, maybe it would be a debate....but that just seems to not be the case.....and I personally believe it is tied directly to his oversized body degenerating. Odds are, it will only get worse.

When healthy, it could be a debate, I guess. But Yao is turning into the Fred Taylor of the NBA.

 

I think Yao's a better player but Dwight not missing a game in 3 seasons is telling...

To the poster above me... just because Yao > Dwight on their head to head doesn't mean he is the better center. Basketball is a team game and right now Dwight is the better center. Yao's gotten outplayed by Chris Kaman the last two times.. it doesn't make Kaman the better center. Tbh lots of centers will have trouble playing against Yao Ming just because Yaos size gives him a huge advantage.

 

Overall, Yao owns Kaman. But that's not the point, let's stick to the subject.

Dwight Howard + refs <<<<< Yao

Those refs saved him from having a jason collins type game. He got away with murder all game long, even with those 3 first half fouls. On top of that Yao was called for 3 pure bull**** fouls. Even the Magic homers were questioning the calls.
